TIE Interceptor: Thrawn lead, Piett, Mara Jade, Tarkin and RG. Fracture Reva so she can't taunt and the goal is to control GI with stuns from RG which is why we have Piett for his 1st special onto RG and his Emperor's Trap buff, Mara Jade with her 2 specials (Infiltrate and Disrupt and Ultimate Predator) to apply Shock and Stagger to control TM and Stun and Tenacity Down, Tarkin with his 1st special to remove TM and RG with his special to give Def Up and HoT, and use Thrawn's Maneuver to cleanse Purge and DoT's and let the DoT's on them kill them off
For the reworked CAT shards, i used R5 Nest and four randoms (didnt matter, they just died), put it on auto and let it run for about an hour. Nest will gradually get the upper hand on the Imp Coms and Gar Saxon and you'll eventually one shot everyone.

I couldn't get the malgus event with that JKL with old ben and my old ben is R5 with good mods, but once I swapped him out for JKR for the savior and the charge to get around the deathmarks It was pretty ez pz.
I've finally had some luck with proving grounds to help people out that might not have any GLs yet. I was able to 3 * razor crest, CAT, maul and scythe, also I did 1 * on the dad bobba. My comp was R7 Emperor Palp w/ 273 speed/R6 Malak w/ 240 speed 90k HP 110k protection/R5 Darth Revan w/ 329 speed/R5 Darth Talon w/ 289 speed and R4 Bastila Shan w/ 274 speed. I ez mode all of them except the CAT mission that took me about 20 tries. I had tried a lot of different comps with Starkiller and less than ideal jedi(kyle katarn) and LS UFU(scavenger rey) which wasn't working. This was much easier
LV has worked on quite a few of these. Rey was the easiest to get Ben Swolo. I'm struggling with Interceptor and Malgus right now. Maybe I should have geared Traya or Thrawn. And not having relic Wat hurts a lot for my LV.
Rex BB is really tough. I can kill Reva once then Rex dies. Then I can kill her once more. It's tough stuff. I didn't know Proving Grounds was this tough.
I like the new format. I was going to wait until I got JKL next month to try tie interceptor. Now I am thinking of finishing cpt han early and giving it a go.
No offence but these videos are pointless when capital games keep changing things. Last month I could 1-2 star each battle this month I can’t beat anything.

is there a minimum relic recommendation for the full GAS 501st team because i can never beat any of the proving grounds with mine i have GAS R7, Fives R5 and rest R3

I have Relic 5 Padme team. I 3 stared Asoka mission in the most recent Proving Grounds with that team. Not sure about Razer or Boba, but worked excellent.
I just used the weirdest team and I mean it worked I was trying traya and Malak duo couldn't get cat done so I threw in traya lead gba Han chewie and Malak and was able to 2 star it after that finally got me on the path to jmk should be unlocking jmk and cat about the same time
Can you do another video for CAT after the ISC Rework? My R8 Han (Zeta applied), R5 CLS (Both priority Zetas, no Learn Control), 3PO, Chewpio, and R6 Chewie (Loyal Friend Zeta applied) are getting leveled due to ISC. Tried attacking maul, Gar, and ISC first and don't last more than 1 or two turns.
Empire team with Malak can easily 3 star Ben Solo tier You can also use RG, but Malak is great for killing off sides without them entering damage immunity
Traya, Malak, Nihilus (I always also used Talon and threw in a fifth that never seemed to matter) can beat Malgus and Ben Solo. I haven't managed to three star them, and Malgus in particular takes a ton of RNG, but I've beaten those multiple times with that team.

Just wanted to say that I just three stared the Ben Solo proving grounds today. The team I used was Emperor Palpatine, Mara Jade, Darth Vader, Piett and Malak. Here’s the basic strategy I used: Palpatine’s lead keeps the turn meter train running, also once shock is applied he can stunlock the opposing team (other than Rey). Mara keeps tenacity down on the other team and also puts stagger and shock, helping with the turn meter control. Vader puts ability block onto Rey. This is very important because if she is not ability blocked and she has sudden whirlwind it is over at that point. Also he has good damage for taking out the opposing team. Piett, I’m not sure how necessary he is to this but his AoE buff dispel and daze is very useful, and the stacks of emperors trap likely help with the team’s damage output and applying debuffs. Malak is necessary for a three star but not for just completing the event (I got one star last round with tie fighter pilot). Basically whenever Rey takes her turns you want Malak to be taunting since the others will have low hp from the modifier at that point. Malak gains taunt whenever shock is applied to an enemy so you can consistently keep taunt on Malak if you know what you are doing. Also, his drain life ability can be used to get an opponent out without going through the damage immunity, which is useful but not necessary. It didn’t take too long to complete once I figured it out and got the correct RNG. Also it is a fairly cheap team for completing that tier to use. Hope this helps someone.
You can beat the tie interceptor level with GAS lead fives Rex JMK wat I think. Weapons on JMK to get out there first, slow GAS, damage immunity on gas and just keep building up AA with Rex. Padme with your JMK team can probably clear everything before that depending on what you have reliced
Ive been trying for ever for CAT shards. Ive tried using any and all teams including the Padme team. My issue is I ALWAYS lose GK before I even get a turn. Even with a full speed modded team. Half the time i lose 2 or even 3 toons before I get my first turn. Theres times Ive actually lost the battle without a single turn. This event was supposed to help mid game people get hard to get characters. Nope. This game is nothing but 110% a money pit.
Try modding the Padme team with a LOT of health and speed secondaries. And make sure you have all zetas on there. Anakin and Ahsoka with crit damage/offense - and health.

@@NOOCH2GUD I think some of the relic levels have been bumped up a bit since I unlocked SEE, but for most of the battles I use SEE, malak, Vader, palp, and for a fifth either royal guard or another sith. Tie interceptor i used a comp that bit dynasty showed with thrawn (lead zeta is really helpful), Vader, royal guard(high potency), piett, and tarkin, all of which are SEE requirements.
@@alexforstrom no one talks about the great PG benefits of farming SEE first (after executor). My worries I’m (at 3.6 gp) am going to get to proving grounds with only Slkr and executor and still not going to to be able to farm malgus for at least 3-6 months after PG unlocks
The Padme team with GK, GA, C-3PO, snips is worthless. You must need relic 7 for all. I get destroyed without killing anyone on Phoenix. This guide is useless. Doesn’t work at all

PLEASE SHARE THIS For CAT shards use relic 3 traya lead with relic 3 enfys nest a bit finnicky but works (not 3 star but only 2 character requirement)

Traya lead will 3* the Maul one pretty easy as well. They basically kill themselves with all the attacking out of turn
I’ve tried these squads and minimum r4/5 and get destroyed on everything but CAT and Boba.
For CAT (2stars) i'm using : R9 DRevan, R9 Malak, R9 Malgus, R7 HK-47, R5 Fallen Bastila. It also worked while i had R7 DRevan and R7 Malak.

The main problem for me is the speed of the opponents, I'm sure the phoenix squad are pushing 700 speed, they easily out pace my slkr
I used to have to remod my SEE for speed to beat this tier 💀

CLS v Inq (Tie Int) is solely RNG reliant. I've tried it 100 times with the CHS team all 280 speed+, got close a few times, but not managed to do it

4 million yes. Everyone at 4 million has access. Conquest pass purchase gets you a 2nd round of it.
