Parker was from my area. She was such a vibrant, beautiful girl. These children deserve more than 4%. And 4% is given to all pediatric cancers. DIPG is only given a small amount of that. Imagine a pie in front of you..and someone takes 96% of that away and gives you the crumbs left. Thats exactly what's going on funding and clinical trials for adult cancers versus pediatric cancers. And lots of the people struggling with DIPG are very small children who can't articulate everything they feel, what they're going through. We must be a voice for them and give them the help they need that they shouldn't even have to ask for. The funding for DIPG must increase. Young adults can get DIPG too, I cannot imagine one of my sons being diagnosed yet parents are given the bad news all the time. We must do more. Once you realize this can happen to anyone, you realize how important it is.
Prayers and love from France to you We wish your son survive Nothing is impossible to God just keep faith and hope on him Everything happens for a reason.
New phones appear and are made every year with new technologies, but right now we sre not capable of giving new medications new procedures new technologies for people who have cancer especially children this needs to change
This is A&O. Medical tech developed differently from IT. You can't simply write a code and suddenly have Version 2.0 at your fingertips when it comes to medical improvements. It's not even the same technology. Getting new phones/tablets/PCs don't require extensive research. They are just machines. Meanwhile, getting new tech for medical treatments go through a vetting process, such as: Research and development in understanding certain illnesses Testing possible treatment options (clinical trials) Observing a particular form of a disease in a segmented population Getting government and board-certified approval to developing alternative forms of treatment Funding for such undertakings in research and development Scrutiny and oversight under state and federal agencies (NIH, {insert state here} health departments, CDC, FDA, etc.) International partnerships---for instance, the French equivalent to the American FDA having a contract with American agencies studying the same type of cancer and build a project together and share research and statistical data. And THAT has its own process that takes decades...oh yeah and the fact that before ANY of it hits the public sector, medical boards have the power to NOT give the go-ahead and go further in research and development. Wanna know how many viable medical solutions have been killed on a certified board's floor? How many times research and development has ceased by the order of certified board's peers? THEY and the government are the ones who decide if such things can continue. YOU may have what YOU think as ample data to support a certain treatment that cures cancer, but if the boards aren't satisfied with the result, your shit gets scrapped and you either have to continue where you left off, or the worse case scenario---start all over again. And the board can decide if your proposed medical treatment breakthrough is viable or not. They most often than not shut it down due to lack of funding, misgivings about the treatment, liability for medical malpractice lawsuits... You have NO CLUE how much red tape scientists have to go through concerning engineering and such, so imagine how much more the red tape is concerning breakthrough treatments in human health. This shit takes YEARS. And they hold the purse strings. This and more is what goes on behind the scenes in upgrading medical technology. And let's not forget all the legalese that goes into such things---insurance, liability, malpractice clauses, medical waivers (for clinical trials)... And don't bring up how fast the COVID vaxx came out. Many medical peer organizations have in fact decried the speed in which it was developed. It was the first medical breakthrough that DIDN'T go through the rigorous processes I've outlined this far. And we are now seeing the ramifications of such speedy development, and most that are in medical research and development are all saying "WE TOLD YOU SO!" The speed in which the COVID vaxx went from concept to distribution to the populace is a fluke. You'll never see that again. And when more data becomes clear on the long-term adverse effects of the jab, you can bet your ass that more stringent procedures will be put in place to ensure that NOTHING breaks out that fast. So tell me---how can THIS be compared to the speedy research, development and innovation of telecommunications again? You can't. Last time I checked, Apple, Microsoft, Samsung and Nokia aren't exactly vetted by medical boards to push their products to the public. It's not as vetted nor scrutinized on the same level. Apples and oranges.
The reason DIPG is always fatal is doctors can’t get it all out because of where it grows on the brain stem. That’s even they will even do the surgery. It’s just to buy time. I looked it up years ago when I saw stories like these and no child had ever survived it unfortunately. It’s a very sad thing and very sad to watch these kids swell up so much from the drugs I’m guessing. Very sorry for these children’s parents dealing with this loss.
So sorry for your loss I couldn’t imagine my family without my 6 beautiful grand children and my cheeky little great granddaughter, sometimes life is so cruel to our children no matter what age they may be xxxxx
Sweet Grand remember that the Good Lord restores and love Always whips cancer in the end Jesus has him in his arms and you will always have him in your heart
No, it is not more common in girls. It is equal of boys and girls, however 5 boys from my area including my son had DIPG in the matter of a few years a part.
Put on your tinfoil hat and be quiet. Wappie! (In my country 'wappie' means: cute but stupid conspiracy theory believer, who normal people feel sorry for)

Absent a cure, the only effective course of action is make funeral arrangements and maximize what precious little time remains. Cherish those moments.
God bless you and your family
So sad for these parents 💔
WHY ARE SO MANY CHILDREN GETTING THIS😥
@F Trakk yeah they are👏👏👏
Because we can detect it now. In the past children who got this 'just got sick' and 'just died'.
One in 300 in England, weird
She was so cute Rip parker
My grandson died in age 18 to Brain cancer April 2021

RIP beautiful girl💖💖😇😇
Is it more common in girls? It seems like 90% of DIPG stories that I have heard about are girls
Yes it is
Its equal amoung boys and girls..
No, it is not more common in girls. It is equal of boys and girls, however 5 boys from my area including my son had DIPG in the matter of a few years a part.
So sorry for your loss
Research, research, research!
More than 4 💕
More than 4%
I’m so very sorry 😢😢😢😢
My cancer seems so insignificant compared with these children.
I'm sorry p h great girls
Did anyone of the children that got this have 5g towers at school or near home.
5g wasn't even around when a lot of these children got DIPG.
5G has just come out. One of the most famous cases of DIPG known was Neil Armstrong daughter. Well before cell phones existed
Put on your tinfoil hat and be quiet. Wappie! (In my country 'wappie' means: cute but stupid conspiracy theory believer, who normal people feel sorry for)
Oh please, 5G doesn't cause cancer
