There is a contradiction to your explanation related to geometrical unsharpness, the more the obstruction is away from the source, lesser the Ug. So if we keep iqi at film side it is supposed to have less Ug right? pls explain Sir

The thickness of the weld means specified wall thickness plus weld reinforced (internal plus external)
