I played in gold for like the past 2 -3 seasons and it’s absolutely as brain dead as you saw in round 1. Came plat3 this season and it’s like every gold who figured out how to spam LMGs is now Plat 3. I’m sticking to Smoke and Hard Breachers now because if I’m gonna lose, I’m gonna lose with dignity :|
Lmgs + Finka has given so many trash players way better ranks. Got bad aim? Here’s 100 bullets. Can’t control recoil? Don’t worry it has none. Got to 20 health when you missed every shot on an enemy whose back was turned and almost flicked on you? Finka will heal you. I can go on lol

As for the apex/seige dev team debate, I honestly think people just like to complain. Can the studios do better? Yes. But even in games like Hunt Showdown where there is constant feedback from the developers and quick fixes to bad metas and bugs we still get people who complain about how little the devs care. It’s hilarious

I’m a plat 2-1 player playing with friends in gold 2 and 1. And my god. The plays my enemies and teammates make, make me question life. I’ve resorted to playing mute and maverick so I can help where I can because it’s literally like mopping with the tap open.
Relating to the apex thing at the start: I think the reason some people are getting salty that EA/Respawn isn't fixing some of the apex bugs this early on is because of how Respawn completely abandoned Titanfall 2, and still hasn't patched any of the problems with it despite literally promising that the game was going to be fixed after the massive community uproar that the whole DDOS thing caused. The base game multiplayer is still totally unplayable, even though the game is still being sold on Steam and Origin, and modders had to create an entire self hosted server system to get around it. It seems like Apex is starting to go the same direction because of the numerous bugs that have gone unfixed for multiple seasons, and the repeated, though smaller, DDOS problems.
Funny that you mention that art and dev team are 2 different teams. While art team can make great skins, I'm not sure what the coding team is doing at all on Apex. Unknown crashes and disconnects issues since launch that they say they have been working on but they hope people forget about until after a collection event (mostly cosmetic), those same bugs intensify in magnitude somehow. Most fixes are bandaids that they hope don't fall off a year in the future. Also, communication is non existant, but partly because of reddit toxic behaviour. But still, Apex biggest problem isnt bugs, its the matchmaking. As long as you are above average, the game will give you 1 good game that you win and 10 bad ones where you are food for tryhards and sweats. That, paired with the fact that there is no new content (a new legend and small map changes every 3 months is just not enough) to keep people interested. Also, the new player experience is a disaster with the amount of smurfs running around, even if after 3 games the game detects you are smurfing and puts you again with the higher ups. Apex will live as long as the dedicated playerbase it has doesn't suddenly quit. And right now there is a no apex august movement going on. Took me a while to get over the sunk cost fallacy and now I dont regret quitting it like 2 months ago. Simply put: Apex is no longer fun to play.

The Azami strat in archives is really bad because you're going to get perspectived trying to do it. If the Azami was actually sitting where Varsity was looking, he'd be able to see her legs and she wouldn't have been able to see him. Speaking from experience 😔

So apex has bugs, some take weeks or a couple of months to fix, but the one bug that has to do with cosmetics buying, it was fix the day it was found, like yeah i can understand why, but some bugs still exist that need to be fix by apex
Sadly Apex really doesn't do much to address the multiple problems that are rampant in the game. Multiple Operators and their ults are just busted or op compared to most of the cast. They didnt even think thru a Sniper shotty type of game mode and allowed a character with a minigun to get her ult, so the game mode turned into nothing but That certain character final circle with a minigun while you and your bois got a fucken sniper and shotty. This is just one example of Apex not thinking shit thru or not caring.

But u can beat a rampart pretty easy as long as u play a corner or cover and in a sniper shotty mode ur gonna be playing cover besides rushing mostly. Lifelines original fast heals, lifelines rez shield, gold knockdown now, wraiths run style and portals, and so many more which honestly most weren't needed. I mean look at caustic there nerfing him again even tho they nerfed him into the ground. People just need to play the game and enjoy it while it's still popular and has a good player base.

There is always going to be a new meta and with a new meta comes buffs and nerfs. No one will ever be happy and not complain in any game because no game is perfect. You can talk about how overpowered a certain gun is and how it should be nerfed and then when its finally nerfed be like “they over nerfed it”. Its a never ending cycle that i feel like just puts more pressure on dev teams and makes the community call their favorite game bad which then causes it to die

Cheating will never be gone completely. There is no way to combat it effectively. You fix or change something, hackers will find away around it. It's a constant cat and mouse game.
