50年程前に大徳寺塔頭で泉仙は大好きでした。学生時代の贅沢な食事。
門の外にも出来てるがまだお寺でめ営業🈺してるのかなあ。

あぶり餅を第一目的で３月初旬、熊本から京都に行きます。(あぶり餅、数ヶ月前に知る)
その付近では今宮のみ訪ねる予定でしたが、ここに寄らないのはもったいないですね。

あぶり餅は記憶が定かではないのですが、確か水曜日が定休日やった気がするので、それも気を付けてください！

参考になりました。
いつかは訪問したいと思ってましたが、まだ行けてません。
大徳寺は司馬遼太郎さんの『街道をゆく』シリーズの中の『大徳寺散歩』にて、
一休さん、千利休、堺などの絡みで昔読んでいて、ぜひ行ってみたいと思ってます。
ごく一部の塔頭(or子院？)しか拝観できないのは今も変わりがなさそうですね。
小生は樹木が趣味の年寄りなのでイブキの巨木をはじめとして楽しめそうです。
もう少しは賑わっても良いのでしょうがオーバーツーリズム的になっても困るし・・・。

最後の観光客 思っきし拝観禁止の柵くぐり抜けてて草
正直大徳寺はこのままでいいと思います みんなが観光業してるわけじゃないですし観光客多すぎて参拝客が減る寺院もあるのでこれで良いです

Ich war 2019 am 22 Oktober indiser Gegend. Bin mit der U-Bahn an der Kita-Oji Station ausgestiegen un wollte diesen Tempel besuchen. Leider hab ich keinen Eungang gefunden und bin dann umgekehrt und weiter zu Botanischen Garten. Sollte ich noch einmal nach Kyoto kommen versuche ich es noch einmal.

It’s unfortunate that you couldn’t find the entrance to the temple, but the Botanical Garden is also a lovely spot. If you visit Kyoto again, I hope you’ll give it another try! 規模はでかいんだけど、伏見稲荷や清水寺のような派手さがないからね。
一休、利休の所縁の地だし、禅や茶道とか盆栽園もあって、ちょっと上級者向けかも。
金閣寺や竜安寺、北野天満宮とかも近くて見どころ多いんだけどね
ですよね、、、、
歴史的に重要な場所場所ではあるんですが、派手さは無いし、中の人達も観光客来てほしくなさそうですし、、、
さすがに大徳寺は知らない人がいないと思う
