Sohyang is an amazing artist. She's not only a strong singer but a strong human being who's such an angel in real life as well. I'm so, so glad y'all reacted to this song, it's a whole gem!!! So Hyang is the definition of "delivering the goods!" You know that you have heard the very best singer in the world when you have heard her sing. Beyond that, words fail me. I guess we can throw away our ears now because we have heard the best there is. Period.

Vocal pedagogy experts and enthusiasts who enjoy dissecting and scrutinizing minute details of singers' techniques, from one note to the next note even, go nuts dissecting and scrutinizing Sohyang's. She will go down in history as one of the grand master technicians of our era. It took Sohyang years and years of dedication and discipline to train herself to reach that level. On top of brilliant techniques, Sohyang is damn emotive too, making it easy for non-expert laymen to simply enjoy and feel her deliveries, which can range from the extremes of pain and sorrow all the way to inspiring hope and joy. And the cherry on top, she is humble and a good compassionate human being to boot. She's a diva, without the "diva attitude". BTW, I know you're just kidding around about her not taking before singing. It reminds me of this fun fact: Sohyang said in an interview that she sings Mariah's songs for her warm up, as Sohyang is a huge fan of Mariah (and there's an actual separate footage too). Let that sink in for a moment: Mariah's songs ... for vocal warm up. ... 🤯

I'm only 9 months late. Not only is she an incredibly technical and talented singer, she loves Jesus and has said she sings to bring people hope and comfort. It makes 100% sense that her music takes you to church and makes you feel like you're standing on hallowed ground.

I highly recommend her live stages of 'Arirang Alone', 'Lean On Me' and 'Everyone'. Each one of these songs could elevate your spirit in hard times. Her voice and precence are just so warm and inspiring, definitely one of my favourite singers in the whole world.

This dame always brings me to the tears...somehow, someway, whenever I close my eyes during her performances I always see sister Yolanda Adamas...dear God knows why, but she's got so much black gospel power in her voice that there's no word in any dictionary that can explain it!!! And I'm deadly serious about this!!! I mean...listen to her brotha!!! I consider Sohyang to be one of the best vocalist in the world. You could feel her every word and note when she sings. It's always a mind, body and soul experience. I love her! One of my top favorite Korean artist. Hope you get to experience more of her performance.

That was a great reaction, I laughed because you guys were like me the first time I saw it. She's amazing. There are a few singers around who are beyond the talents of ordinary humans, but Sohyang does it for me because even though they all have their particular strengths and some have wider ranges than others - especially Dimash who's not human anyway, so he doesn't count - and some can do certain vocal tricks that others can't, like whistle register and all that stuff impressive as it is, but Sohyang gets me in the feels big time. You know she means it. I can't watch her with other people except my cats (cats are people too) because I'll end up blubbering in front of them. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
