    Ooooowww you are VERY, VERY GOOD!! Give yourself a massive pat on the back just to remind yourself just how good you are at adult colouring. That 1st mandala in shades of greys and white and silver is STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS. I am 100% gonna copy that and try it for myself because it's so good honestly. I had to write after just seeing that 1st stunner. I've liked and subscribed and I can't wait to see the rest of the upload and your other stuff too. Well done you!! You're one talented lady, you really are!!❤😊👍

    This was a fun and informative video Connie. All the pages look great. I like how specific you are on what worked, and what did not. I'm so jealous that you have the northern lights!! I've even been to the Nordic countries and still have never seen them. I also got a crush on that color palette so thank you for linking to Zucchini Kitty's video.

      So glad you enjoyed it! We had one display of the northern lights a year or two ago that was absolutely jaw-dropping. They seemed to emanate from a point almost directly overhead and arced out in all directions. It was incredible!
      Karen's colour palette choices are always so amazing - I definitely understand about having a colour palette crush! :D

    Connie love, I recently watched a tutorial on how to color glass by snickerdoodle and did indeed do the lines over the picture although it was super nerve wracking 😂 it worked out great! I used my Ohuhu acrylic paint pens in white instead of a gel pen, but, she did say that you can take your blender pencil for example and scratch away the gel pen marks if you really want to!! I haven’t tried to remove anything crazy but it does work! I highly recommend you check out her channel. Kim and I have been going back and forth for a few months and she is also a great support system ❤❤❤❤

    I loved all your pictures, I just subscribed to your channel. That is really neat paper you showed in your last picture. You could always use glossy accents to make the glass effect for your globe.

      Thanks so much for subscribing! Very true - I've used Glossy Accents or the clear Gelly Roll Glaze pen before to create a glass effect. :) I was wanting to try to do it with shading and with highlight lines this time - but then I chickened out. :)

    I really love how you did the Northern Lights. So pretty. I think you achieved the ice looking like it is reflecting the Northern lights quite well. I also like the tree you filled in. I think it looks great. Would love to see a tutorial of how you did the Northern Lights. All the pictures you colored are really lovely. That Friskette film looks interesting. I'm going to get some and give it a try. Oh, I think you could actually reuse the piece you cut out, if you save the backing. Just put it back on the backing, and you can cut smaller images out of it that you want to cover.💖💚💙💜

    • @colouringchemist
      @colouringchemist  4 месяца назад

      Thank you so much! And you're absolutely right - I could have saved that big piece of masking film and cut it down for smaller images. :) I'll remember that for next time - thank you!
      I don't know how much of a tutorial there would be for the northern lights. :) The line work was drawn in by Rita and I just used a couple of different colours of lime green glitter gel pens and a couple of different colours of pinkish-purple glitter gel pens. I used the darkest colour at the bottom and transitioned to a lighter colour at the top - that was about it. :) I can see if I can find a similar pic of northern lights to show a quick tutorial - thanks for the suggestion!

    Thank you for sharing your pages Connie. I absolutely love the page in Worlds of Wonder. I had no idea that masking film existed. I was just wondering if you could have cut the film down after you'd finished the picture and used it again to cover the dome and create a glass effect on it?

    • @colouringchemist
      @colouringchemist  4 месяца назад +1

      Ah - excellent thought! I'll have to try that next time (I tossed the masking film right after I finished filming the video :)). So glad you enjoyed the video!

    Hi...love your videos and colouring....I've watched a number of your videos, and you've mentioned your faber castell pitt pens...I'd love to know which ones you use, the artist pens or the ones with Indian ink ? Please, thank you 😊

    • @colouringchemist
      @colouringchemist  4 месяца назад

      I think all Pitt Pens contain India ink but I could be mistaken. :) The only difference in the different lines of pens are the nib shapes or the size of the barrel. I use mostly the Pitt Artist Pens with the brush tip:
      www.amazon.ca/Faber-Castell-Piece-Artist-Brush/dp/B00KYTNNY2/ref=sr_1_10?crid=28SM5DV6ZTKLC&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.BZrJhSmwGrtIw-LLIZBVYOwgs9JutOEv3-DrHcWwrgDsUTrS12Ii8WK0h2-mbmuDoUY8VtCBGrU2uW5k_8vnTPyMn9kTvze5lcCOvtdQfIHxfaJjyPd2Xogx0DQQExPHtlPlhmBPV6_uaftrLjLGgOXzSaZOZ13fFCYpnf9Nb3gpKR3m4ZZrg4EdOEdCRudyWyBOjlbXAuMo0rv41VzBrR5JkFd8WGRAp1et8Q9lKRcIQBA5_DGT_6dhFfn76P4RH5C-frtzJtMnzJOdxmHMUKoR9aGhdoaf3p_-10bwew4.rbcUgZNJKrmicLmTl-EBY0GIDuqeKvlVm7oh_huLTvg&dib_tag=se&keywords=pitt+pens&qid=1710018832&sprefix=pitt+pens%2Caps%2C240&sr=8-10
      There's a great article on the Jet Pens website that describes the different lines of Pitt Pens:
      www.jetpens.com/blog/Faber-Castell-PITT-Artist-Pens-A-Comprehensive-Guide/pt/309
      They don't talk about the newest Pitt Pen Dual Markers as the article was written before those came out but there's a lot of great info in the article.
      Hope that helps! :)
