Meri is out of touch. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, knowing that she was raised in a polygamous cult and hearing that she was working on herself (worthying up) after her divorce. But she just doesn’t get it. Janell and Christine aren’t speaking their truths about Kody’s narcissism and abandonment because they feel they “have to prove he’s wrong” - they’re speaking the truth about how he is an absentee father who is lashing out that he can’t control the narrative with his bio children anymore. Meri can’t emphasize with that for some reason, it’s like she has blinders on.
