The “half the country hates the country” line is what it is... The truth. Not aimed at any specific group (by race, gender, politics, etc...). Unfortunately, a lot of folks focus on the worst things about our country and are mired in negativity instead of having gratitude for all the great things we have in the US, they whine about hating our country.

We did just see nonstop riots throughout 2020. Probably has something to do with it, in my opinion.
People separate themselves because of different values, beliefs and cultures. It's called Tribalism and nothing will ever change that. it's natural to want to be around people you feel comfortable with and have things in common. The American Indian is the perfect example. Having different values and beliefs though basically the same race, they split into different tribes. In Africa and Europe the same thing happened. Pakistan split from India because their religion is different etc, etc etc. It works the same way in Business. If you own a Rolls Royce dealership, Your not going to hire a person who speaks slang and constantly drops F bombs, wears saggy pants and has a ring in his nose to sell your cars. People confuse color with culture when it's more about how you dress, talk and act, what you believe and what you value.
I love the fact that this country has overcome and is continuing to overcome the worst things about itself (slavery and racism namely). The elites to bring back racism so they profit from saving people from it. They don’t care about the people. They only care about themselves.

I don’t agree with you on everything, but I expect that with everyone, and that is what we all need to get to. We all have different experiences, yes from the color of our skin, but it is so much more than that. When Tom was talking about inflation, he was saying the the wages doesn't keep a close gap on inflation. The wage does it's own thing and inflation does its own thing. That is why you still have low wages and higher cost. Wages aren't trying to keep you out of poverty or provide a steady living, while at the same time inflation is keeping you down and financially unstable.

On the topic of "Black Lives Matter" vs. "All Lives Matter" (as I see it):
The first problem is that slogans are a terrible way to argue. Too many use these as an argument because their attentions span isn't longer than a hashtag.
So then you have to get past that and have people define their terms because there is a BIG difference between BLM the arganization and BLM as a statement. Unfortunately due to the above, one gets inherently conflated with the other.
Overall, the issue is this compartmentalization. What, we have to wait for everyone to have a movement? These things aren't even stagnant, there is no end in "End X" or "End Y". There will always be a problem and nothing will ever be perfect. Reducing the problems to a racial issue will only ensure that racism continues and the problems persist because the real issues are covered up by colors.
Anyway, that's a pretty bird's eye level view and there's only so much I can put in a comment. If it helps, I'm on the Thomas Sowell side of things. Go through his works and you'll get it.

@@bobbyscott5162 100, being around like minded people is always going to happen and contributes to the positive results of competition (like coaches who run their teams with different philosophies who might draft players with specific skls that fit) thats not a bad thing thats how the sport (or the world) gets better as a whole, Judeo Christian values and the great experiment that is the united States with its constitution is a great example of how much can be achieved with the right system.. but brash judgment of an entire group of people because of skin color doesn't fit in that and is a proven mistake.

Well because of Tom I found your channel. For that I’m thankful. He’s been leading me to a lot of people that are seeing what’s going on.
