As a fan of Die Krupps, I will say that this was cringy, considering how overblown the "danger" of Trump has been represented and how they never criticized a far worse danger to this world called "extreme left". Pure disproportional criticism, immaturity and irrationality and probably an opportunity to gain on fame based on the popularity of the topic. People are impressionable, whatever seems like the next cool thing they'll do it. If it's cool to demonize someone they'll do it, if it's cool to glorify someone they'll do it, whether they are a pop, rock, Industrial or whatever other artist...whatever gives them +1 point on a social status bar, they will follow. People base their opinions too much on what seems to be chanted the most at the moment, not on a rational analysis of the information about both opposing sides. The reality is that Trump, with all his mistakes (far more benign than that of people who supported months long violent protests during the pandemic BTW), is just someone who found himself in the middle of fire of those chants. And every president will...because the power of media + human irrationality and impressionablity.

And disliking songs just because they're discussing politics is pretty much the reason you do not understand musical art (you've never composed a song and you've never written lyrics to a song, you made that obvious). If you're to observe a song in the same manner as "fake news", then your opinion is worthless. Other than that, this song sucks. I'm a huge Die Krupps fan but this is really creatively poor, IMHO.

I'm really disappointed in you guys, some creativity and subtly could have used to make this a decent song and video. you don't have to be so direct and blatant about it. the vagueness and creativity made it more fun to listen to. what is wrong with having secure borders? how come so many nations around the world have secure and guarded borders and no one calls them xenophobic, racist, or nazis? there isn,t much logic there. it seems we are just being picked on because the world expects the US to solve everyone's problems and if we do shown no gratitude for it.
