There has been no loadshedding so far in the whole of South Africa this Festive Season!😊😊 Any power outage that happened anywhere, if at all, had nothing to do with loadshedding.

Oh, and in Bokaap there are story tellers about my coloured/Cape Malay people's heritage, art museums and plenty of authentic Cape Malay food and desserts all over Bokaap. It's more of a knowledge drop than a place of activities 🔥💖
On behalf of the crazy cape-town south easter wind, I would like to apologize 😶🌫️🙈🤣 Here in Cape Town we it's usually 4 seasons one day but that was the south easter wind that usually happens around the summer solstice and lasts about a week and a half. Come next week we will be looking for this wind because then Cape Town is gonna be HHHOTT with no breeze 😅
We always have out Christmas is Summer. I wish you enjoyed it. 💡 Cape Town is the only city in the world 🗺 where you can experience the Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean. Yes!!
Those clouds on the table mountain are mostly there, circulating the top of the mountain... They're affectionately referred to as 'table cloth'... Cape Town is definitely not a single day trip... Should've rather done Sun City, only hour drive from Joburg
Soon they'll be stringing up sentences in isiZulu, IsiXhosa or any South African indigenous language that is prevalent in their school. Watch this space.
@@Christine_M_Jones My sincere apologies, I suppose you aren't supposed to get involved with these zodiac situationships lol, I get well yes CT is breath taking. To which American city can you relate it to, not comparing, just the ambiance
The marimba band was playing a song by the great South African jazz legend Jonas Gwangwa, who sadly passed away in 2021 at age 83. The name of the song is Kgomo. 👌👌
South Africa is actually experiencing a lot of rain, wind and a bit of a cold front in terms of weather at the moment, so unfortunately your family missed out on a typical December Cape Town day! I mean, it IS usually windy in Cape Town, but this is ridiculous! Normally it's quite hot in the Western Cape this time of the year (it is after all the middle of our summer), but we've been experiencing some really cold and rainy days over here in Pretoria in Gauteng and if that is the case we know that it's freezing cold and windy in the Western Cape! By the way, the area with the seals (yes that's what they are called and they are stinky!) is called Hout Bay. As for the domestic flights, it speeds up the boarding process to have passengers sitting in the front half going in the front and passengers in the back half going in the back, but it depends on the airline and the type of plane that is being flown whether you will climb up stairs to get inside the plane or not. Usually passengers in the front don't have to walk across the tarmac and climb into the plane; only passengers in the back have to do that. But this is South Africa, so the rules can change on a daily basis! Lastly, here's a good tip: the best time of the year to visit Cape Town for great weather and cheaper accommodation is in February and March. Happy to see you all had a good time!
Hi I’m a new subscriber. Love your videos. Can’t believe you took the whole family to Cape Town just for few hours, Please let me have your life😂. Love how chill your parents are. Enjoy Mzantsi❤
1. Isn't always like this, but what I can say the Joburg to Cape Town route is the busiest route. 2. Clouds always moving, sometimes is clear, most of the times is cloudy, in winter it gets more cloudy and rains a lot. 3. Hop on Hop off Cape Town is has incredible views. I enjoyed the vlog
loadshedding has been suspended for December, since majority of industrial factories r closed for holidays. Power in South Africa is largely consumed by Industrial factories and mines not residents. so it has been a month since i experienced loadshedding. January loadshedding starts countrywide
Inadvertently picked the 'wrong' day, wind weather wise but hey dont let that put you off, when the weather 'behaves' which is most of the time, itll be even better.
You know why its so windy and why the weather could change multiple times a day? Cape Town is the closest city where the Indian(warm) and Atlantic(cold) oceans literally meet, two tides and oceans
@@shireenmonama5765 if you go on holiday in Cape Town it might be upsetting, but if you live here long enough you can do whatever you want to do, you'll just have to do it on the right time.
@@shireenmonama5765 26 December i took my family to a famous braai site near the beachside and i had a terrible day because the wind went crazy, people's tents blew away, towels, blankets, caps,... People moved tents closer to the rocks for protection from the wind, i had a bad day because as i was braaing, ash from the coals was blowing on to the meat, like literally covering on both side... Later in the day the wind subsided (around 3/4pm). But how can you get angry with something so natural, so "non-man" you realise that the world is better than you, you realise the land you live on takes care of you, protects, you, feeds you, gives you life, its so natural and i love it, wouldn't go anywhere else in the world. ❤️🇿🇦

The wind had been blowing since 22 December so the pride of Cape Town, the Table Mountain cable way had effectively not operated for a good week. Waiting hour to go up was about 2,5 hours on the 27th...probably the same today. Ironically, there was also no road access to Cape Point at some point, due to wild fires. So, be prepared for any eventually when visiting
