This song was spot on for me. I can't stop playing and singing it in my head all the time.
My wife and I have been a couple since we were 14. I had to move to the States with my family when I was 16. Naturally, as we were still very young at that point, mistakes were made. Distance and time took it's toll, and we broke up which lasted about a week. I was working my self to death, sleeping 2 hours in between jobs and one day I called off since I literally couldn't stand to get off my bed. I got a random phone call from a number overseas. It was her. She asked me how I am doing, I asked her the same and started chuckling over the phone like children. She asked me if we could get back together and I answered "Yes, I love you" without even thinking about it.
This song brings me back to that moment. I tell my wife all the time, I'd rather not fall in-love again if it's not her.
