The cnc letter inlays are a great idea. Someday i really want to get myself one of those cnc routers
You'll never regret
When you pulled out the bowl bit I got nervous because the lid was already so beautiful. The way you recovered that was real nice. The thumb inlay looks amazing.
NICE recovery on the finger divot.!
Yes Bill, firstly I didnt plan make it so but it turns even better)

A flawless inlay. An awesome new technic!
Need to try some drawing not letters
Thank you for taking the time to make and post the video, amazing to watch.
Thank you, Carl!
WOW! Nice job! I love the finger grip!
cool inlay idea but I almost fell asleep due to narrative style of yours ;)
another great little project from the wood ninja !! clever finger insert , genius. very cool .
Thank you, Leon)
Nice woodworking job! Thanks for showing!
Welcome, bro!
Nice little Box!
I glad you like it! Thank you!
Beautiful work.
Interestin that I did not see any festool being used on the making of the box.
really so. just drill for screws on cnc table.
Wow that looks really nice.
Greetings from Holland
Good job my friend.
Nice solution to the finger hole problem.
unexpectedly for me)
You are so lucky. I'll dream of owning a CNC one day.
Let you dreams to come true. It is helpful assistant of woodworker
Great Video!! I really liked how you used the contrasting woods to write the name on it!!
Yeah. Contrastsing wood is my lovely style
Outstanding. I am making knives for my father and son for X-mas and this is exactly what I am looking for to make it a keep sake. Thank you.
Welcome!
Amazing and cool, skillful work, thank you for sharing.
Great job love the inlay keep up the great work thanks andrew
Thank you Andrew!
As the knife collector that i am- i know that the box is useless. But it doesnt matter because it looks great and this guy takes pride in his work. Dont hate
People are not robots. Some things inspired us.
simply: genius!!!
Really nice box ! I didn't know Festool made knives !! :)
Good inspiration for projects to do with my CNC !!!
Really it is Victorinox swiss knife. Festiool orders knives from them for souvenirs.
Nice job!!!
Great work... love the CNC inlay :)
I love this technic too, need to make more
Again very amazing skills! I love the box!
Thank you, Jeremiah!
You dont need skills with a cnc router. If he had done it by hand then it would be amazing now it is mweh everyone with a cnc can do this.
Gorgeous
Nicely done, enjoyed the detailed build process, a well engineered project...
Thank you!
Nice job.
Many thanks! I enjoyed your video and learned a lot from it!
lovely wood, a nice process, accurately routed on the CNC, nicely finished... but why? Penknives go in a drawer or pocket.
very cool. nice craftsmanship
Thank you , Samuel!
Nice Bierkönig shirt
love your projects, you are an skilled craftsman thumbs up
Thank you bro!
Really nice!
Nice work.
Really really nice job !
TravaillerLeBois.com Thank you

Zdravím!
Fascinating!
Thank you Todd
Bravissimo 👏
Very nice!
Hi Chris! Thank you! Love your chop-chop channel!
I love it...!!! thank you...!!!
+Lev al' Aaraf
Awesome!
Is there a reason for not using the cnc machine to shape the guides on the top as part of the original box rather than stuck on with glue? (This is a genuine question)
Nice thanks for sharing
exelente trabajo, felicitaciones
Maravilha Amigo , Maravilha e belo trabalho.
Manda um alô pra gente .
Amazing quality.
You are fantastic
beautiful, can me say what you use for FESTOOL Writing.
Best regards, from Germany
I use picture from web and made vector type image from it
Hey brother I enjoy all your projects and you are extremely talented but I must ask home much was that knife was it like 10 times the price because it says festool on it lol
It seems there was about 20$ price
Mirock, beautiful box build, also nice knife. Is the dark wood oak?
It's tigerwood, i think
Yeah, it is tigerwood. Its striped structure is quite large thats why it is not so perceptible on small pieces. But when I made bigger think there it was really tiger wood
Respect
First off supper cool box! But honestly i really don't like CNC machines ( probably %40 because i don't own one) but otherwise i feel like that make wood working just inputing data into a computer instead of acutely taking the long aproceh to hand carve difficult spaces and make jigs for tools such as routers and abel saws.
It is philosophical question). I believe once people said the same for powertools instead handsaws and planes). Time goes forward. I think sometimes the same will be said for CNC as about old school way to get things).
Hi, so I did not mean the cutters but the drill is in there. CNC drill is pointed and I have searched in the internet but not found. Can you tell me an address from the dealer where he bought it?
The second question was. The font Kontour is in the software on both of the Mitteline? (Festool bag / Festolol sublime)
If you give me your e-mail I could send pictures to improve understanding.
Thank you in advance. Sorry for my English
Nice job. Could you tell what mills did you use for this project? I am newbie in cnc world, manage to build one for myself, now learning how to work with it :-).
One more question. At 0:08 i see that after milling you have quite rough surface, but at 0:11 it is polished and all pockets looks like plastic!! Flat and nice! How did you get this? Polishing with hands or have some secret way to get this result? :) Tell what magic you are using to get such results? :D And what kind of wood is this?
Thanks.
No polishing just clean letters by compressed air and awl. It was primarily dust
Nice video! I must try something like this. What kind for bit do you use?
frezy4pu.com.ua
these days i use double sided tape for most of my cnc work :-) i just cant wait for my hotglue to become hot haha.
beautiful job...
thabk you!
should use some tiny magnets to keep it closed
You are right - it may be
show muito bom mesmo
Hate being one of THOSE people, but it's a VictorInox knife and its a shame for it to be called Festool... Festool is just a company who decided to get its name as advert on it.
Good job! ! What CNC model is it?
ATS 0609 It is our local producer
excelent broder
Thanx!
great .....
Thank you, Richard!
It looks pretty cool, but it'll be noisy i think
When in doubt pva glue will sort it out
I made it by myself. I used stodoys scripts for that.
WOW :o
im hooked, probably your newest, biggest fan!
Where is Festool to say something nice? :)
evry one can do this . wthe this tools

Even dont know what to say)
5:38 did he kust say "this white b***h" turn on captions
The most pointless box in the world.
The most pointless comment in the world.
***** You have a good point.
Yea I was a little disturbed about that. But then again, festool is like versace for men. It's not just a tool, it's a designer label, and some guys are into that.... I guess.
Truth it can store possible inherited pocket knifes from ancestors
A really nice piece of work, although perhaps an overkill to keep a swiss knife! 😀
Good afternoon, I really like your videos. I want to ask you for permission to use your video on my channel. To voice it in Russian. And show the audience how to make such products in the artkam program. Thank you in advance, waiting for your reply.
People talk about Apple fanboys, I've never seen something like Festool. I thought lets buy a new vacuum. You need to look into Festool everyone says... $650 dollars!! then there's the Mitresaw at $1900.
I like the newest and best myself but WOW, so the average DIY/Re-modeler is stuck with the $400 dewalt Mite-saws & Rigid shop-vacs.
Just glad I bought a Sawstop on-sale for $899, still have never seen it that cheap.
Very nice -minimal and simple. I admire your craftsmanship Mirock. I also enjoyed your Table Saw creation!
good morning beautiful video, I wanted to ask if your cnc and self-built or have purchased, I saw that and very powerful and also works the aluminum ...
Hi Mauro. This machine - www.instankoservis.ua/frezernye-stanki/ats-0609-m.html
Yes, it could process soft metals. Not to fast though
Thank you, I watched interesting products ...
Great solution and execution for the inlay.
Well done.
Love it!! Great work
Swiss army logo would of looked nice on their also.
Really nice work! Might be a nice addition to inlay a could neo magnets to hold the sliding door shut.
good idea
Good Job, you are very talented! What kind of CNC can you recommended us to get ? What is good yo begin?
It is maybe most difficult question
haha I know it could have a very big range of answers, but i want to begin with something in mind, probably the X-Carve could be a good solution to begin? or a CNC smaller (20cmx20cm of work area) or something like that.. Anyway I appreciate your help and the knowledge shared in your videos.. Keep going on!
That is a very attractive display box. Looks like you learned a lot about your CNC equipment. It is somewhat ironic that you made a Festool display box with equipment having no dust collection. But I guess that no CNC machines have dust collection. Anyway, great work!
You are right Travis,) I should to make dust collection but each time when I tear free day from my busy life I forget about coolection and make something for my heart
Hello Microck`s
Unfortunately, I can't find a router anywhere on the Internet you used to have.
In the case of the setting of the milling you're caught because two of the Mittelliene ? Can you give me information. I`m a Newcommer and Festool Fan.
Thank You and best greads. Jörg
You meant cnc router? It is our local manufacturer - www.instankoservis.ua/. My model ATS0609 made for custom size. Second question I couldnt understand sorry. Can you tell one more?
I'm not a big fan of CNC work because it's more of a programing skill than woodworking. Having said that I love the insert lettering and the creative knife box. Nice job on correcting the finger pull indentation as well. Makes it really stand out. Also noticed you have changed your format a little with voiceover explanation. I like it. Great job all the way around :o)
Not so much programming really. I do all programs just before certain work for some minutes. I learned just simplest ways of CNC working. Of course the real handmade woodworking is very attractive and interesting. CNC should to helps it. It is one more additional workshop machine. Already almost so usual as tablesaw or planer.
Very Nice Indeed....Top Job.
You do amazing work brother.
I glad you like it! Thank you!
