Yes, in Superman's solo comics, he often goes at it alone. In Batman's solo comics, you often see Robin, Nightwing, Oracle, whoever etc...

I like how Superman's iconic pentagon shape can be seen in lots of different places on his New 52 suit. They're on his shoulders and his wrists(as you can see at 4:31).
I feel like this would be a perfect storyline to adapt for a Superman film that isn't an origin story, but one that establishes Superman's main supporting cast really well.
And Wraith as an antagonist was interesting for not only being a physical challenge to Superman, but one that challenges him on his ideology too.

Absolute. bullshit. He's smart, but no where near that smart. Not to mention that's physically impossible. It'd have to suppress all light, sound, vibrations, vent itself to prevent over heating, etc. All while needing a sustainable power source. This kids is favoritism 101.

I just read Superman Unchained last night and really enjoyed it. I have my fingers crossed that WB/DC make this story into an animated movie.

The ONLY issue that I have with your story telling Benny is that you never fully explain critical plot points that matter, I always end up confused as to the how or why certain things happen that I'm sure the comic goes deeper into explaining better, that's it, besides that I LOVE your story telling I just wish things didn't always end with me being confused as Hell as to what the hell just happened at the end of a story and how exactly it came to be, like what was the motivation behind him sacrificing himself for earth over his own people?, like is there any reason what so ever??? Plot details, motivation, things that really close things out with a better understanding of the character and why he does things.
+Still Waiting. I typically put it in if its there, in the case of Wraith its never explained. my assumption is in the end he fought for his country not his people. But a lot of comica require you to connect certain dots yourself that cant always be conveyed in the narration. Plus if I make a call like I have in the past like stating Wraith did it for the country like he was telling superman the whole time tyeres always someone who will disagree and say something like Supermans portrayal of a hero changed his mind or something.
That's true, I was just so confused by the end of the story that I thought that there might have been one or two things left out. But again besides a few rare occasions I've always come out of your videos fully informed and satisfied with the story telling and ending. Keep up the great work, been subbed for a long time, I'm a big fan.

Don't know if it's you or just RUclips, but I've never had to deal with as large of a number of advertisements as I have to with your videos. There's at least 2 or 3 per video, and it just cuts off for them. But I still watch anyway because I love your videos. Keep up the great work!

This is the thing about Superman, he fails to realize he's capable of being a villain. Bat-Man knows anyone, under the correct conditions, can turn or be turned to the dark side; including himself. Luthor and Lane are correct in their assessment of the threat Superman and others pose, however their actions and responses are much more paranoid. This paranoid attitude makes them villains.
Comicstorian tells the best DC stories, I love the DC videos more than the Marvel ones...and this is coming straight from am avid reader of Marvel Comics.
Comics explained has a better handle on Marvel though, I love the vast wealth of knowledge they put into each video. Where as here, I get a DC burst of information that is more fun to watch.

It is a strange day indeed when Superman has the superior combat skills during a fight.
Superman is skilled and smart in comics. In movies and cartoons ... not so much.
Heres the thing though. Wraiths death wasnt shown on screen so he can always make a comeback. He was starting to grow on me aswell, someone that was supermans equal and yet wasnt evil either.

There is also the speech from Lex as Superman is in space which sums up all of what the book is saying about the character of Superman which is super important, like it's pretty much the point of the whole thing. And the smallville subplot/ending
