His music actually turned my life around because I went from not being SHlT to actually being on some boss timing because his bars made me take a deep look in the mirror. And good music does that I noticed that with Joe blows music as well. Timeless and it makes you reflect on a lot of stuff. When you live ‘that’ kind of life it comes with endless pain and his music got me through that pain and helped me build strength to better myself all around. Far cry from the negative music we are bombarded with nowadays. Jack had that balance, could talk about everything deep to shallow and the way he articulated his rhymes was truly unique and in my opinion he may not have made up the style but he was the OG raw Bay Area older version of what we hear now from Youngboy and the rest of the yn’s that style was perfected by THE JACKA! Some will say Bone Thugs or Three Six but the way he did the sing song style was much more like todays music but better and with actual meaning and substance. I was sitting in a special VIP seat away from the crowd damn near right next to the stage. Almost gave Jack a bottle of Grey Goose and Henny cuz he said ‘come backstage n pop a bottle’ I had my own alcohol collection and it would’ve been a damn honor to give those to him, but my homies was Iame asl wouldn’t take up the street to the trap to get them. If they woulda only knew….smfh
