Sadly he got deported. He signed a record deal which broke his student visa agreement and for some reason they considered this enough to force him to leave the country after becoming a national treasure. I feel heartbroken for him and angry that this sort of thing happens all to often

There's a really sad story to this. The guy who sings this song left England to go back to Pakistan because his student visa was soon to expire. As he breached his visa he has since been denied access to England twice. He left in 2012 to visit family with the intention of apply for a work visa but was denied a final time in 2016. A recent article says that he still lives in Pakistan and would like to one day return to England but feels they won't let him access because of his visa breach in which he claims the music network had mislead him. The visa board denied his visa attempts as they claim they couldn't be sure he would be coming back for a limited stay.
I only heard this the other day n can’t stop singing it! He’s actually got a good voice!
