Great review. I don't own the two that you have. However my passion de lamour, benevolence and hauts Bijoux leaves a beautiful trail. Also, the oil concentration is higher in the ones I just mentioned. I do believe the cupcakes are over hyped at this point. And the lie about each stone being hand placed.....chyle please.....the lies🤣😂

I appreciate you having the courage to tell your truth! I ordered the discovery set about two years ago, when it wasn’t hyped. I wasn’t too impressed to purchase. Like you said there are some scents (especially one) that smell good, but in my honest opinion not worth the full price point. But, I do know if Hauts Bijoux is ever 50% off I’m on it...lol!!
I completely agree!! There are lots of things I buy and love, and lots I buy and realize it's just not worth it!! It's important to have both perspectives. I didn't make this video to make anyone hate HOS lol-- just want to offer an alternate view! Haha let's be honest...I am TOTALLY getting Hauts Bijoux for my birthday next year lol. I have also heard some of their scents have a higher concentration of Parfum and last longer! Unfortunately, none of those were the ones I have purchased lol.
Actually, I would have to disagree. I layered “Whisper of Time” at initial spray over top of a similar scented body wash and lotion and the scent is there, however, it’s softer but there. The scent seems to stick to my skin and I get a whiff of myself throughout the day and it smells beautiful. So I would definitely recommend layering and in no means at I suggesting Whispers of Time because that scent is not for everyone but I happen to love it.
Thank you for your courageous video I love Emerald Reign, Holiday, Benevolence and Passion de Amore, but I don't care about the cupcake container. I buy the travel sizes when on sale. To your point, they are beautiful fragrances that require a touch up during the day/evening.The travel packaging is both beautiful and practical

Totally here for this video. I'm glad I purchased mine at a discount. I feel the cupcakes are worth around the discount price they offer. You know I love me some packaging and I still love the scents, but now the travel size is all I need👍🏾
I agree with you 100%, I purchased 4 and received 2 as gifts and I’m so upset because they are all unpleasant….I don’t get how they all smell so bad. Yeah I hear they have a distinct DNA….that dna is funk!! Reminds me of those Walmart cheap fragrances they still sell from the 80s. I’m so upset with myself not to mention 3 came in scratched up and chipped and customer service does not respond. I recommend DO NOT blind buy, get samples of these! There is a reason why they run sales all the time. I packed them up and are in my closet. The worst decision of 2021!!! Just purchased Delina and Baccarat rouge and I love those!

Girl thank you for tell the truth, I too purchased 2 and ended up selling one because the longevity was just not there..., and we should expect more because if I’m spending close to 4 or even 2 hundred dollars it needs to last longer that a few hours at the bare minimum.

Not skin so soft! 😂😂 This brand has nice scents but I agree with you, I don’t think the price point is accurate for the sillage! It def doesn’t last all day on me either. The uniqueness of the bottle I think is what draws people in. I wouldn’t recommend this brand to anyone or go hard for it like I do with others. If anyone is interested in this brand, I’d tell them to hold off for a 50% of sale because $360 not including tax is not worth it!

I never pulled the trigger on the cupcakes I only purchased the discovery sets and the scent last about 3-4 hours on my skin and I no longer smell it, but people around me smell the scent it’s like peek a boo or something! I like some of the scents but I’m just not paying that price for the cupcake when there’s so many others perfumes out here that will blow your wig back if you had one on lol

girlfriend you are absolutely correct. I received my discovery package today. I was super super excited to test all of the sense that came at a fraction of the cost of a full size bottle this was definitely a blind by so spending $35 because it was on sale was a no-brainer. although I loved all of the scents that came in the set I have to say that haute bijoux smelled exactly like Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance fragrance. Moreover the scent was not long lasting at all, about four hours on the skin and it dissipated on me. whereas the Beyond Romance stayed on me all day even after washing dishes. I was like whoa what's up with that? truth be told I would have been so pissed at spending $360 on a full size bottle and have an $89 bottle of department store perfume last longer. your review is spot-on and I appreciate your honesty and I'm so happy that I stumbled onto your page. be blessed and thank you for not hyping something up that is not worthy.

I ordered both discovery sets: Whispers and Signature. I tested a different one on my skin every day. I tried all the Whispers fragrances and definitely like them more than their signature fragrances in general (although I have 3 signatures I haven't tried yet). I thought I'd pop online and see if anyone had posted reviews on the discovery sets and I found you. I completely agree about the sillage. After TEN days of trying all the fragrances I asked my husband what he thought and he really had no clue! At the end of the day I asked him if he could smell anything and he said no. Flat out no. I was really surprised. I really like some of the scents, but I'm not sure about investing in a cupcake. The travel sprays maybe.
Oh, I also find that they all dry down very similarly in the end. If I put a different one on each arm, by the end of the day they both smell just about the same.
Oh wow, so maybe I should try the Whispers! There is definitely minimal sillage with this brand, ironically lol. I agree that some of the scents are really great! Maybe you can do travel sprays or catch them when they are 50% off, otherwise they are a bit pricey for a scent you may not be able to smell after awhile. A disappointment for sure!! I DO agree with you on the dry down also! They do definitely have similar DNA!

If you read the Glass door reviews. Yikes! I knew I never was going to jump on board with the hype. I’ve done that before. It was hard to find honest and in-depth reviews. So thank you. They were sending these out to anybody and everybody who said “ omg this is sooooo nice, it smells sooo beautiful. Coupon code in the description.” Really that’s it. That’s your review 🙄 That being said the discovery set was interesting to me.

I do agree the idea of the luxury, exclusivity slong with price and reviews peaked my interest bc I thought id be getting very good quality. I just purchased the discovery set to see if I'd like like it first. I like alot of them especially emerald reign and benevolence. It is very expensive. So far, I find the scents last awhile. I can still smell them when I wake in the morning. Projection wise if others can smell, I dont know bc of the mask wearing right now. I plan to try these out for at least a month to choose the right one . If possible I suggest for women to ask someone to purchase it for you

I do have one cupcake and it’s my only cupcake. I got WW84 and I love the way it smells on my skin. It’s a soft sweet scent but I love a good soft skin scent. I do understand about expectations. I like the one that I have but I’m not sure if I want another one. I like Love is in the air but that’s it.

Great video but a little be disappointed in some of the youtubers’ comments. Fragrance is very subjective, the fact that it doesn’t work for you doesn’t mean it won’t work for others. I have two cups cakes and they perform and last a good amount of time. Thanks for sharing your candid opinion.
Fragrance is absolutely subjective. Every video placed on RUclips for the most part is subjective, that's why all these videos should be taken with a grain of salt. I just want people to be informed before they make the decision that's best for them!
Thank you for this video. I agree with on the #House of Sillage. I love the lipstick cases, however I am not crazy about the lipstick colors (although they do have new lipstick colors now). And I felt like I should have received a free gift offer with my purchase back in May/June. I went back forward with customer service and they didn’t send the free travel perfume gift. So that was end of #House of Sillage for me. Good luck with your future purchases.

great vid! i have to be honest...someone sold me the discovery kit about 2 years ago, and they wanted 35.00, which i thought was great. i received the kit, smelled all of them, nodded my head “yes” and never opened the box again. 🤣. i DO remember liking the cherry one and “love is in the air” and “tiara”.

You are so right. I bought one for a discount. I'm so glad I did not buy the House of Sillage Wonder Woman fragrance got a sample and hated it. They are not worth the price. Masion Francis Kurkdjian is my favorite.
With a name like "House of Sillage," they definitely need to do better. My favorites are Whispers of Guidance and Whispers of Enlightnment, but I find myself constantly spraying throughtout the day. I also love the coconut note in the Disney collabo, but don't think I can spend $400 on a fragrance that won't last!

Actually, I would have to disagree. I layered “Whisper of Time” at initial spray over top of a similar scented body wash and lotion and the scent is there, however, it’s softer but there. The scent seems to stick to my skin and I get a whiff of myself throughout the day and it smells beautiful. So I would definitely recommend layering and in no means at I suggesting Whispers of Time because that scent is not for everyone but I happen to love it.
Thank you for your courageous video I love Emerald Reign, Holiday, Benevolence and Passion de Amore, but I don't care about the cupcake container. I buy the travel sizes when on sale. To your point, they are beautiful fragrances that require a touch up during the day/evening.The travel packaging is both beautiful and practical

I’m so upset with myself not to mention 3 came in scratched up and chipped and customer service does not respond. I recommend DO NOT blind buy, get samples of these! Girl thank you for tell the truth, I too purchased 2 and ended up selling one because the longevity was just not there..., and we should expect more because if I’m spending close to 4 or even 2 hundred dollars it needs to last longer that a few hours at the bare minimum.

The uniqueness of the bottle I think is what draws people in. I wouldn’t recommend this brand to anyone or go hard for it like I do with others. If anyone is interested in this brand, I’d tell them to hold off for a 50% of sale because $360 not including tax is not worth it!

I never pulled the trigger on the cupcakes I only purchased the discovery sets and the scent last about 3-4 hours on my skin and I no longer smell it, but people around me smell the scent it’s like peek a boo or something! I like some of the scents but I’m just not paying that price for the cupcake when there’s so many others perfumes out here that will blow your wig back if you had one on lol

girlfriend you are absolutely correct. I received my discovery package today. I was super super excited to test all of the sense that came at a fraction of the cost of a full size bottle this was definitely a blind by so spending $35 because it was on sale was a no-brainer. although I loved all of the scents that came in the set I have to say that haute bijoux smelled exactly like Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance fragrance. Moreover the scent was not long lasting at all, about four hours on the skin and it dissipated on me. whereas the Beyond Romance stayed on me all day even after washing dishes. I was like whoa what's up with that? truth be told I would have been so pissed at spending $360 on a full size bottle and have an $89 bottle of department store perfume last longer. your review is spot-on and I appreciate your honesty and I'm so happy that I stumbled onto your page. be blessed and thank you for not hyping something up that is not worthy.

I ordered both discovery sets: Whispers and Signature. I tested a different one on my skin every day. I tried all the Whispers fragrances and definitely like them more than their signature fragrances in general (although I have 3 signatures I haven't tried yet). I thought I'd pop online and see if anyone had posted reviews on the discovery sets and I found you. I completely agree about the sillage. After TEN days of trying all the fragrances I asked my husband what he thought and he really had no clue! At the end of the day I asked him if he could smell anything and he said no. Flat out no. I was really surprised. I really like some of the scents, but I'm not sure about investing in a cupcake. The travel sprays maybe.
Oh, I also find that they all dry down very similarly in the end. If I put a different one on each arm, by the end of the day they both smell just about the same.
Oh wow, so maybe I should try the Whispers! There is definitely minimal sillage with this brand, ironically lol. I agree that some of the scents are really great! Maybe you can do travel sprays or catch them when they are 50% off, otherwise they are a bit pricey for a scent you may not be able to smell after awhile. A disappointment for sure!! I DO agree with you on the dry down also! They do definitely have similar DNA!

If you read the Glass door reviews. Yikes! I knew I never was going to jump on board with the hype. I’ve done that before. It was hard to find honest and in-depth reviews. So thank you. They were sending these out to anybody and everybody who said “ omg this is sooooo nice, it smells sooo beautiful. Coupon code in the description.” Really that’s it. That’s your review 🙄 That being said the discovery set was interesting to me.

I do agree the idea of the luxury, exclusivity slong with price and reviews peaked my interest bc I thought id be getting very good quality. I just purchased the discovery set to see if I'd like like it first. I like alot of them especially emerald reign and benevolence. It is very expensive. So far, I find the scents last awhile. I can still smell them when I wake in the morning. Projection wise if others can smell, I dont know bc of the mask wearing right now. I plan to try these out for at least a month to choose the right one . If possible I suggest for women to ask someone to purchase it for you

I do have one cupcake and it’s my only cupcake. I got WW84 and I love the way it smells on my skin. It’s a soft sweet scent but I love a good soft skin scent. I do understand about expectations. I like the one that I have but I’m not sure if I want another one. I like Love is in the air but that’s it.
I love a few other scents, and who knows I may get them. But I definitely thought I would be more impressed lol. I have heard that the WW84 is a beautiful scent!!

Thank you for this video. I agree with on the #House of Sillage. I love the lipstick cases, however I am not crazy about the lipstick colors (although they do have new lipstick colors now). And I felt like I should have received a free gift offer with my purchase back in May/June. I went back forward with customer service and they didn’t send the free travel perfume gift. So that was end of #House of Sillage for me. Good luck with your future purchases.

great vid! i have to be honest...someone sold me the discovery kit about 2 years ago, and they wanted 35.00, which i thought was great. i received the kit, smelled all of them, nodded my head “yes” and never opened the box again. 🤣. i DO remember liking the cherry one and “love is in the air” and “tiara”.

With a name like "House of Sillage," they definitely need to do better. My favorites are Whispers of Guidance and Whispers of Enlightnment, but I find myself constantly spraying throughtout the day. I also love the coconut note in the Disney collabo, but don't think I can spend $400 on a fragrance that won't last!
Seriously!! I am so surprised that the sillage and longevity is so bad. I mean, the scents are nice. But I expect better for the name and price, especially!

Im seeing this late ive been interested in this house and hermes for quite some time both for their lipstick cases.
Hermes is totally worth it in my opinion...now the HOS-- not at all. Some of the scents are nice. But their overall questionable business practices, customer service, and percentage of dupable fragrances-- too me it's not worth it. Though the bottles are truly works of art in person!!
Thanks for sharing your honest opinion...I’ve seen the hype on YT and instagram and resisted the urge to blind buy even with the discounts being offered (kinda of strange really as most higher end fragrance houses don’t usually discount that deep that often). And like you I didn’t like the “cupcake” packaging as it felt kitcy....but it’s grown on me now. Thanks for the giveaway I will enter so maybe I’ll get to try them out. 😘
You're so welcome!! Yessss, it is very strange that a "high end" fragrance company has allll these sales, even up to 50% off. But only on their website, it's just strange all around. Louis Vuitton doesn't have sales ever for a reason lol. The cupcake thing is merely a gimmick to me at this point!
