Gorno'90 are so underrated in my opinion, they are quite powerful for defense and thus especially well-suited for early land grab with heli drop (and u can take them in Mi-8 MTV)
Very situational, depending on : - ennemy deck : too risky against decks with crotale-like AA, or tunguskas - Map : the more open-ground there is, the better it is for longbow (and all helos). Forest patches and small buildings are a nightmare because they can hide Manpads, that are difficult to spot until they fire. -And of course it Can be more or less interesting depending on what units your opponent is bringing in. Atgm helos are especially rewarding and precious against heavy armor. We can also highlight the fact that armored decks tends to lack long range IR AA, such as Crotale, because most of them are wheeled. This is only my thoughts from my limited experience, I'm by no mean a pro at WG.
Still that your comment illustrates perfectly my last ranked game : I killed 2 longbows in 10 minutes, my opponent seemed quite New (used only expensive units, us Marines and no riflemen ...). I lost nearly nothing do those longbows while I killed like 4 squads of Us marines '90 along with some vehicles with a single Mi-8 MTV

The longbow is such a noob trap of a unit, I feel like most high end helis are. MI-17 is a the chad heli
longbow can win you a game easily if you are able to get rid of enemy's AA net.
Literally best helo in the game.

@@lovepeace9727 yeah but a good player that can micro a little bit will turn off his AA until the longbow is in range and then shoot it
