To install this yourself, use an emulator like PCem or 86Box (I used 86Box in this video). Make a new machine with the following configuration: - Machine type: Super Socket 7 - Machine: [ALi ALADDiN V] ASUS P5A - CPU type: 100/66 speed - Memory: 12MB - Time synchronization: Disabled - Video: [ISA] CGA - Mouse: Microsoft Serial Mouse - HD Controller: [ISA] PC/XT XTIDE - Hard disk: 32MB - Floppy: 3.5" 1.44MB Then install MS-DOS 6.22. Follow the steps in the video after that!
I actually installed this sucsefully using billy'o reilly's hardware opitons on PCEm (i'm more familiar with the interface of PCem) but i lost the emulaiton. It may be still in the windows.old folder.

I think I am already used to using a regular 8088 clone and installing PC-DOS 3.0 instead, but still, thanks.
Fun Fact: Windows 1.0 DR5 was leaked on October 31st, 1984. The same year the Macintosh 128K was released!
Wait WHAT! they leaked a windows build before the first normal windows version was complete!
I have never seen that type of system, thank you for revealing this system! :D
No problem!
cool 😎 😎

Is installing this possible in real hardware? Not that i want you to do this but i'm curious of what you think.
Yes, if you have a system from 1984 :)
