Try consciously relaxing your fingers and *KEEPING your hand at ONE position DO NOT move it more towards the keyboard*. Curling happens due to too much tensing and letting your hand drag towards the keyboard, which I see happening. You could also keep your hand a little more back from the keyboard so if you tense you can no longer hit the key, this will also give you immediate feedback if your finger is curling and you can tap lighter.
1. Try higher keybinds (like QWOP) 2. Try sitting farther back 3. Try going ring-index for your left hand (like ADKL for keybinds or something) 4. Try touching your thumb to the side of your hand when you play 5. Try elevating the back of the keyboard so that it is at a slight angle to put the keys closer to your fingers (works well with higher keybinds)
glad to see you back!! you can try playing with your arms closer to your body because your middle finger seems to have more length than it should have sorry if this doesnt help
glad to hear that you were able to fix the issue with the straining on your eyes, happy that you're happy. Love to see any content put out, and stay winning!
i had the same problem when i played mania and eventually quit playing after like 4 years cause my left hand just couldn't keep up with my right hand. eventually i picked up sound voltex after getting to try it at round1 and i'm not sure why but after playing that my left hand has mostly caught up with my right hand and they're around the same level now. even though i havent touched mania since i started sdvx i could probably get back to top 100 (US) if i wanted to tldr; try other rhythm games (with more hand movement) and come back
hi, person kind of clueless when it comes to positioning for vsrgs, but i've been playing vsrgs for quite awhile (so take what i'm saying with a grain of salt), what i'd personally recommend is: 1. try moving your hand positioning, your arm/hand has some sort of diagonal angle which might be the root cause of your middle finger curling; 2. if you're not using kickstands with higher keyrow binds, give them a shot! (i've personally used them for awhile and it's helped me quite a bit, might also help you too, but who knows); 3. this might be a far stretch, but changing your tapping style to a wrist-up style might fix your finger issue (as it isn't that heavy on the wrist it might also reduce risks of injuries BUT, it will take ALOT of time to get used to that type of style so i do not know if it will be "worth it" in the long run); 4. if this curling issue of yours is just a "visual problem", don't mind it, literally everyone in the vsrg community has some sort of "tic" that they do whenever they try to focus; good luck trying to get back into mania!
Oh hey, I love this map! Recently got a 99 myself. :D Great score! I don't really have many tips for the finger curling unfortunately, just wanted to stop by and say that I love the mania upload, I've missed those a lot heh
could just be bad habits from early on that eventually led to poor tapping technique. its probably that you are tensing more as the map drags on, so maybe try lighter tapping? im a standard player though so I dont know if that will help in mania 🤷♂
thanks man, your videos motivate me to actually play this game and deadass make me enjoy it a lot more. shoutout to npesta, gotta be one of my favorite genders
id recommend moving ur wrists back enough that that isnt really an option or just setting higher binds glad to hear you got around the eye problem though!
I have had the same issue when it comes to butterfly clicking on laptop, it looks very similar to what is happening to your fingers and instead of using my middle finger i started using my ring finger as it feels more natural to me, but only on one hand for some reason. And it also looks like your ring finger naturaly is more extended so i would suggest to try using a different finger.
play easier single stream/index charts, finger curling isn't bad for your playstyle unless you're tensing really hard on everything, if you are, then try keeping your wrists a little further from your keyboard. hope this helps somehow
Im sorry I have no help but I really hope you can fix this. I've seen you log into osu a couple times and got real excited because I love seeing you play!
hi can u pls put the skin that you use somewhere to download? (like in the description or a pinned comment or if somoene asks like me answer to the comment with the download link) :)
but seriously in my opinion u shouldn’t care about finger positions a whole lot and for me I say it doesn’t really matter but if it’s causing u an injury for example then that’s when I would venture out for help but I don’t see it as a problem imo

This map is genuinely really fun yeah i love the patterns it feels like my fingers are dancing
@@npextra5863 All of Cherry Blossoms and Broken Streams is amazing. I can give some more pack recommendations on another day if you like. ^^

probably bad habits yeah, unfortunately i didnt realize it was a problem until it was too late. no youre right light tapping is huge in mania
Maybe try a key layout like D J C N, so they are in two different layers, that way the finger curling might not affect you as much
@@Rascii_ should work just fine too
ive tried 2 different layers but i just cant seem to do it
thanks man, your videos motivate me to actually play this game and deadass make me enjoy it a lot more. shoutout to npesta, gotta be one of my favorite genders
your hand = cool 🤯
OMG U RETURNED WOOOOOOO
play more
Crack fr
OH ITS WINGWAMMELOT
id recommend moving ur wrists back enough that that isnt really an option or just setting higher binds
glad to hear you got around the eye problem though!
i have the opposite. my index finger becomes straight horizontally and even curls backwards a lil
I know DAMN well this wouldn't be possible if this was DDR but I cannot help myself imagining it
the jumpstream lord has returned
Ur back yey
try qslp keybinds or something like that
I was just waiting for your hand to fall off in the middle or smth.good work!
awesome to see you back at it
Also please stream mania

thanks for reuploading some mania, seeing you playing was cool to watch tbh, cant give advice for your middle finger tho, hope itll be fixed soon!
fuck yeah neutron factory. Anyways, try using either z x comma period or Q W O P depending which one feels good.
personally to fix this i use the keybinds AX /' so that its straightened compared with my other binds
maybe use keybinds on higher layers, like qwop or ~1*-, so you can stretch your fingers more
i think if you play like stream maps for you left hand and keep the contact with the keyboard that should help
Oh my god ur back :DDD Have you tried wrist rests? could fix the issue
HOWHOWHOWHOWHOW
Nice acc
back to mania now ay 🙀
great video and great playing man! also what skin are you using?
Get a wrist support? something like a foam pad where your wrist is.
THE LEGENDS BACK
try putting your thumb underneath your index and middle like myuka (it might take a few days to get used to)
play easier single stream/index charts, finger curling isn't bad for your playstyle unless you're tensing really hard on everything, if you are, then try keeping your wrists a little further from your keyboard. hope this helps somehow
Bro your doing maps that I could barely clear theoretically and you can get like 99% acc WITH ONE HAND which is just dumb bro. Good job.
Try different keybinds, maybe more spread out? I play with two hands so I don’t know exactly lol
Im sorry I have no help but I really hope you can fix this. I've seen you log into osu a couple times and got real excited because I love seeing you play!
I feel my right hand have low stamina than left hand
i'm guessing it's from bad habits unfortunately. could try binding to wdko or playing wrist down with a wrist rest
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
your hand is doing fine lol i won't even be able to hit 10% of those notes
YEAHHH NPESTA MANIA RETURN
Simple; just make the A key smaller.
Idea: For each hand the thumb and middle finger is used, like pen tapping, but remaps could be required
Perhaps higher keybinds? Like WEP] for example
also what is the beatmap link? i would love to try
try a keybind that forces you to extend your finger, Like using Q instead of A will make you consciously keep your finger extended.
nice score
americans watching their hospital bill gradually increase:
Play some osu standard and use your left hand to tap maybe to get it to speed idk
what skin do use?
Im probably never gonna get a response but can you tell me what the beatmap is? It looks incredibly fun
It's great to see some more mania uploads! Is I getting easier to play the game?

Sorry boss cant fix it
does this happen on easier maps as well or only when you play maps around your skill range?
it does happen on easier maps yeah
@@npextra5863 oh that’s odd
i was going to suggest building up from easier maps to see if that does anything, but now im not sure
I snapped my fingers everytime i cannot move it
fixed it
i cant
friday night funkin easy compared to this lol
