Scary movies in March?! Yes please! Bring out the peach tea and the ice pack 😉! (And honey ginger! Haven't tried that before, but it sounds delicious!)
I scared the mess out of my son's dad after watching this. Our son was sick so his dad was sleeping in his room. I went in to peek at the baby in the crib. I guess I was standing there for a while. His dad saw me just standing over the crib in the dark and freaked out.
OMG lol!! That's hilarious. And that reminds me of something I did to Marc once with a Mickey balloon in the darkness. I'll share it on Instagram since it's a picture, so come check that out in about an hour or so.

I do not know how they made this look so real. Anyways, do not encourage Mark to watch another one of these movies!!! They are too scary!!
Hahaha I don't know, Julie, I'm thinking we need to make him watch them. I will tell you that I TRY to edit things to where they're not as scary as the real movie. And also to try and put some humor in to offset it. Hopefully that helps a little!

Great reaction you two! 😊 This is my favorite movie from the "Paranormal Activity" series. Definitely has lots of jump scares. If you both are looking for another great movie that some good jump scares, I very highly recommend the 2016 movie "Lights Out". There's also a short film from 2013 of the same name that you guys should check out first if you decide to watch the 2016. Two great psychological thriller movies that has found footage that I very highly recommend are the 2014 movie "Unfriended", and the 2010 "The Last Exorcism". Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊
Exxxxxxcccceeelllent!!!! I love getting recommendations like these, Randee. I have not even heard of these, so that makes me excited (except Unfriended- haven't watched, but I know about that one). Thanks again!
Oh ya. Lights Out is so good. My favorite thing about it is the characters aren't stupid like in most horror movies. Right from the beginning, they asses the situation fast and do their best with the information they have.
Haha thanks, @Nes70r! Yeah I didn't know about that movie until someone else just mentioned. You know how much I love horror AND comedy, so that sounds like a sure bet.
My husband and I saw this in the theater, then when it came out to rent, we rented it. At the time, our oldest son was a senior in highschool. He’s 6’3”, plays football and had their team’s quarterback and other linemen over going over plays. Anyway, we are all watching this and ALL the boys were full on covering their eyes with their hands and panic asking “WHAT WAS THAT???” “WHATS HAPPENING?!?!” I said well if you look, you’d know. They were shaking their heads saying “no way, man, no way”. It’s such a fond memory now. 🥹 They were so scared they didn’t care to even try to be macho in front of each other and didnt even realize the others were covering their eyes too since not one was looking. It was quite hilarious since these guys were all gigantic while I’m 5’ exactly 😂
I remember watching this one in the theaters and it was sooo scary! But then the second one I had to skip because I was pregnant and I was not about to go to preterm labor. And the third one I watched at home during the day 😂
I have never watched any of the other movies that come after this because this terrified me so much. However, I do actually prefer the alternate ending of this movie, I actually think that gives it a better ending. But yeah this movie got me so bad back when I watched it the one and only time I watched it.
Well you started something now! You’re going to get tons of requests to watch the sequels and comments on how good they are and those commenting would all be right One of the rare instances when the movies all connect logically and the sequels don’t feel forced or ret-conned. Definitely two, three and Marked Ones are worth the watch
Hahaha you know you're right!! I am down for watching these for sure. We should start doing some "candlelight reactions" where, for movies like these, it's just pretty much the candles providing light during the reactions. Make it a little creepier.
Omg you started the Paranormal movies??? Ohhhh, one thing I'll say: when I first saw it, I actually saw one scene, paused it, phoned my bestie to come over and watch it with me. It reminded me of the Blair Witch project also- ok ok I have to watch your reaction!! 😂
Haha thanks, Vicky! Yeah, I've been wanting to see it for a while now, and I also figured it was time to spring a horror movie on ol' Marc unexpectedly. ;)
@David vs. Film it would be great if you surprise him once more with the second movie, take your time so he won't suspect a thing 🤣 I really enjoyed your reaction guys, great job 💙
You’ve gotta watch “Host” amazing paranormal zoom horror movie made during the pandemic “The Nighthouse” you’d really enjoy too, a lot more of a story to it.
Id become a 3rd shifter real quick....sleep til ten pm then stay up all night and swiffer my floors. Demons arent too keen on scarying someone who's watching General Hospital 😂
Saw this at a midnight preview screening. The whole theater was shook. We all stood out in the lobby afterwards freaked out. As for the sequels, they are related. 2 and 3 and the one called The Marked ones are good. The rest are pretty bad.
Hey Aaron! Thanks for the heads up on the subsequent movies. Yeah, I can imagine being freaked out when you weren't sure what you were getting into. I didn't see this one, obviously, but I was peer pressured into seeing "The Blair Witch Project" in the theater when it came out. My God. Similar reaction.
@@DavidvsFilm TBWP remains at the top of my list for the most terrifying movie I have ever seen. I was freaked out for an entire summer and refused to go near any woods. Even looking at trees creeped me out. I saw a sneak preview of that one too. 😱
@@shakycam3 I set out a bunch of twig people and stars for my nephew and his friends to find in our woods when they were into ghost hunting. I didn't come clean until one of their weddings 8-10 years later. 😆 They had so much fun that summer scaring the bejeebies out of each other.
Just a fun fact: It's funny that you say Micah looks like the Catfish guy (Nev Schulman). Nev's brother, Ariel Schulman directed/wrote Catfish, Paranormal Activity 3, and Paranormal Activity 4, along with Henry Joost. So he is directly connected to this franchise lol
@@DavidvsFilm I was kind of a dick and played on his closet fears and pretended to be pulled in by a demon by ass scooting into our closet while screaming after he kept boohooving after watching this movie
Hi guys, seems I'm a litte bit late for the party, but anyways...I enjoyed watching you havin fun with this movie 😉 Part 2 and 3 are pretty good, too, they're more like prequels and telling more of the background story of Katie and her sister. And there is a kind of spin-off called "Tokyo Nights" which is very good in my opinion, but very unknown because it was only released on DVD to my knowlege and never on on the big screen. But if you can get your hands on it, have a look at it 🙏 Cheers! 😁

@@DavidvsFilm Oh, trust me, I know those fans - 😂😂😂 - I’ve had lovely encounters before. And don’t get me started with a certain singer who has that crazy fan base. I am NOT saying the name. She’s like Voldemort, “She who shall not be named.”
This was a fun movie when it came out, any movie that makes the wife jump several times is a fun movie. The overall arc of the movies is interesting, but it's definitely a steady decrease in quality after this. No it's not based on true story. I've always thought the psychic asked an awful lot of questions, lol. "Demons are so muscular....." look at all the evil in the world, they're getting their workouts in 😄. You're supposed to sleep with the door closed in case of fire, we sleep with it closed because the wife is afraid of the Shadow People. My brother used to sleepwalk and pee on things...the dog...my parents...looking back, that was probably the start of a demon taking hold 😆. I never get why characters like Micah are so cavalier. If I don't believe in something, but events cause that belief to come into question, I would be acting with extreme caution. In your spare time, check out MrBAllen on RUclips, he tells great true stories about missing people, hauntings, stalkers.... Marc will pass his pants. Pour one out for David's balls 😆
So much to unpack in this comment, I couldn't if I tried lol. You literally outdo yourself with each one haha. Your poor brother!!! And the poor dog! ;) You know how we've talked about watching more things on discord live- maybe this MrBAllen would be good! That sounds like something I would enjoy because I love scary stories. I'll tell Marc it's a channel about financial crimes of the last 50 years or something to rope him in too haha. The stories that get me the most are camping horror stories.
@David vs. Film his "missing 411" series is all about true stories of people going missing in national parks. They come from the Missing 411 books that were written by an ex police officer and investigator. He's also got stories about people that thought their house was haunted, but it was just a person living in the crawl spaces. I like him because he does some investigating too.
This is one that I COMPLETELY see the value in watching with other people in an audience format! I saw Blair Witch Project in the theater and people were losing it. But the single best line I ever heard in a live audience was while watching the original Scream, when Rose McGowan was trying to escape the garage, and a woman yelled out, "Girrrrl, you ain't gon' get them big ol tit**es through that door!"
Haha that is the reflection of the lit candle wicks. if I didn't know already it would scare the crap out of me, but I figured it out in a previous video. I've cleaned the lenses, but I still get that faint reflections of the flames.
I love this series. are Awesome! My favorites though are the ghost deminsion and then the recent one paranormal activity: next of kin. Their all really good, but id say marked ones is my least favorite of them all. I hope you both decide to watch them all I'm curious how you'll rank them as your favs
Great reaction however you mentioned is this going to turn into a scot peterson thing, I actually think if its the scot and lacey peterson case your referring to, I believe he is innocent and that something else happened to lacey.

Thanks for watching and commenting, @Javal Thomas!! We really appreciate it
I say this with love in my heart.....
This movie had Marc droppin' F bombs like every 3 mins!😂😂
Girl- on Patreon we had a contest to see who could guess the exact number of times Marc swore. Half my editing was beeping and putting that little ghost on his mouth haha
@@DavidvsFilm I feel for him! I startle easily and sometimes cuss my lil' brains out! I m curious...on average...how long does it take you to edit like an hours worth of a show or movie?
And I'm sorry I'm still not on Patreon but if I ever do you will be my 1st!
David: Oh! I’ve heard about this with baby powder! You put down powder to look for like footprints…or HOOVES!
Marc: Oh f*ck that!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great reaction! 🥰⭐️🙌🏼
Hahaha thanks, Fabian!!! We appreciate you. Glad you liked it at Marc's expense! :)
I love your reactions to all these different movies but I LOVE your horror movie reactions even more. 🤣😂🤣
Thank you, April!!! I have to say I have a soft spot for the horror reactions also. They were how I started the channel back in October of last year, so this heartstopping torture is sentimental for me..
I’m surprised you got Mark to agree to this one! Haha
He didn't know! This was a blind reaction going into for him lol. He wouldn't have otherwise.
When this movie came out I watched it with my best friend. She was terrified. She slept with a light on for a whole year 😂
Yeah I can imagine! They did a good job with this one. Felt real!
Scary movies in March?! Yes please! Bring out the peach tea and the ice pack 😉! (And honey ginger! Haven't tried that before, but it sounds delicious!)
If I'd have known it was going to be this movie, I'd have gotten some peach tea myself.
This should be fun.
Hahaha right?? I love my scary movies. It's hard to go all year until October again, so here we are lol
" My Balls !!" LOL really got me LOL, I "rewind" three times to watch your reaction and still got me laughing ;0) GREAT reaction!
Haha thank you, Maxwell. I'm glad my pain brought you joy. 😂
@@DavidvsFilm u r welcome! wanna say you are genuinely funny and Marc is absolutely adorable at all the reaction vids !! Yeah Scare Marc March is a wickedly GREAT idea LOL. A big "WHASSUP!" from your new fan of Hong Kong!
@@DavidvsFilm oh and I watched "my balls" one more time. 🤣🤣🤣
@@maxwellleung6068 hahaha
I be the first one out of that house. It's why I never have anything that say "Welcome or Welcome to My Home" around my house because you never know Who or What you are inviting in the house. I enjoyed this movie and the rest of the series. I have fun with the movie. Awesome reaction.
Hahahaha that's hilarious about the Welcome. You're like, "I do not want these demons to 'Live, Laugh, and Love' in THIS kitchen!"
Love y’all’s reaction and you two are so much fun.
Thanks, JT! It's only 40% alcohol. The other 60% really is just us having fun. lol
When you said you never leave your foot out, I laughed so hard! For like 5 minutes solid.😂😂😂❤
Haha glad you enjoyed that one ;)
When the boyfriend is going up the attic shaft instead of a video camera I'd be asking for my rifle! I'd be terrified!!!
Worrrrrd!!! Attics in general.. see down here we don't have basements. So we get to exempt ourselves from those horrors. All that fear gets streamlined instead into the attic haha
i wish marc would join you on more tv shows and movies. i love you two together so much. please continue the franchise the story is so compelling, pleaseeeee marc! would love to see you do a rewatch with him on the last of us as well.
Thanks!! His schedule is busier than mine, so it’s harder for him, but this kind of comment helps encourage him to find the time 😁
I COMPLETELY agree with. MARK!!! I usually do not watch these movies, but I thought I would be OK because watching with you guys. The end was really frightening. AND it does look real.
@@DavidvsFilm I did enjoy your reactions and comments and I actually didn't get scared until the very end. I probably won't watch the next paranormal movies, though. It also noticed I was the only erson who commented what I said. I think I am out of my league with this movie. I wish everyone who likes these movies to continue their .enjoyment!!
Scare Marc March is off and running! Excellent content.
Thank you my friend!
Love these movies. “The Marked ones” is the best one.
I've heard others say they like that one too :)
Great reaction you two! 😊
This is my favorite movie from the "Paranormal Activity" series.
Lmao you know you got spooked when you pull a ball lmao
For real tho
I watched this reaction just to watch Marc's reaction. I just kept my eyes on him, and I made it through. 🥵
hahahahahahaha that is hilarious. I'm so proud of you!!!
Leaving your foot out = asking for it 😂
For real! They cover that move in Demon Orientation on like Day 1
Covers are safe.
Now you both gotta watch a haunted house lol it's a parody of this movie lmao I love your channel!!
Thank you, Camrei!!! I made a note of "A Haunted House" :)
I'm going to have to wait until the day to watch this 😂
Hahahahahahaha I don't blame you!
Now you gotta watch "a Haunted House"
Hahahahaha that is hilarious! And I totally believe it. A friend of mine is also 5' exactly, and she ain't scared of s***. lol
You guys are a hoot. Now you have to watch 2 and 3. They go together so well. Don't bother with the rest.
Thanks so much @Rippstick Boom!!! We appreciate that, and I'm glad you liked the reaction :)
The more Marc dislikes it the better it gets! You gotta watch the next couple in the series💚
I agree!!
Great reaction. I remember watching alone. I think the best sequel was the Marked Ones. Great content.
Thanks so much, Kenjii!!! I'm glad you liked it. I'm definitely down for seeing more.
I remember watching this one in the theaters and it was sooo scary! But then the second one I had to skip because I was pregnant and I was not about to go to preterm labor. And the third one I watched at home during the day 😂
Hahahaha “not about to go to preterm labor”
@@DavidvsFilm they are so scary! 😂 still can’t do scary movies
I am so pumped to watch this reaction!👻😳😂💚
I am pumped FOR you to watch this reaction!! We had some fun lol
@@DavidvsFilm So good as you can tell by the 5 times I suggest watching the sequels. Well done Marc👏...and nicely done David!😉😂💚
I have never watched any of the other movies that come after this because this terrified me so much. However, I do actually prefer the alternate ending of this movie, I actually think that gives it a better ending. But yeah this movie got me so bad back when I watched it the one and only time I watched it.
Thanks, @Amy Bill, I hear ya! We’ll probably torture ourselves and watch more though lol.
Now scare Marc with As Above So Below!
Scare ME with that one too! I haven't seen it either. It's on my list ;)
@@DavidvsFilm yussssssss I'm so excited!
''My ⚽⚾🥎🏀🏐!!'' LMAO!!
Nice emoji action :)
Yall need to watch the sequels, seriously. They get even better. 3 is my personal favorite haha
Definitely!
Apparently this movie even scared Steven Spielberg
Haha that's awesome to hear! Even Spielberg is like, "I saw her hair move. I'm out."
They had so much fun that summer scaring the bejeebies out of each other.
@@theConquerersMama I would have peed my pants if I found one of those in the woods.
@@shakycam3 😂 yeah, I would too.
You gotta watch the next few Paranormal Activity movies...they explain more and are pretty good for sequels! Just a suggestion amigos💚
Oh I've heard! lol. You know I love when horror and soap opera-ish stories merge lol
Whaaaat!!! I love connections like that. Thank you!!

All your questions are answered in the next couple movies.. Hint hint!!!
They explain the picture and the cross in the 2nd movie (prequel)
Ahhhhhh ok cool! Thank you, @MikeT0816 T. Guess that means we have to watch it now lol
This movie wigged my husband out for weeks. It made me laugh because, like babe, it's fiction.
But girl. No. lol
@@DavidvsFilm I was kind of a dick and played on his closet fears and pretended to be pulled in by a demon by ass scooting into our closet while screaming after he kept boohooving after watching this movie
Hi guys,
seems I'm a litte bit late for the party, but anyways...I enjoyed watching you havin fun with this movie 😉 Part 2 and 3 are pretty good, too, they're more like prequels and telling more of the background story of Katie and her sister. And there is a kind of spin-off called "Tokyo Nights" which is very good in my opinion, but very unknown because it was only released on DVD to my knowlege and never on on the big screen. But if you can get your hands on it, have a look at it 🙏
Cheers! 😁
Andy! You know the party doesn't start until you get here anyway, so no worries my friend. Yeah, I've heard the sequels/prequels are good, but I have NOT heard about the Tokyo Nights version. Thanks for the heads up!
HAHHA Demons are so muscular 🤣🤣🤣
Haha that demon gym is one hell of a workout.
Okay I want to see you guys do Blair Witch now hahah
Hey buddy!!! Haha, unfortunately we have both already seen that one. It is etched into a core memory that is stored under lock and key, never to be accessed again lol
DO NOT WATCH EXORCIST...no no no! My mother forbid me to see it...me and my friends went to the Decker drive in Baytown Texes. It had two screens...we went over the fence and watched that horrible movie...it's the one movie I regret watching.
Hahahaha did you know that was the first movie I ever watched for the channel? It was a hot mess of a reaction- I had no idea what I was doing- but when I was watching it Marc wouldn't even come upstairs. lol
@@DavidvsFilm oh yes I remember you saying that during Halloween season. The movie scared me sooooo much! I like psychological thrillers and monster movies...but that ol dragon.... I leave him alone LoL 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There is nothing so beautiful than the sound of a child’s laughter.
Unless, of course, it 3 AM and you don’t have children.
Hahaha.. that would get me at 3 *PM* under those circumstances!!
@@Rocco1332 the Missing 411 is crazy.
you should watch ghost watch its the grandfather of found footage
Thanks, @Harvest moon! I don't know that one, but I'll look it up.
I waatched this in theaters it was great!
What's moving back there on your sorting hat??????
Haha that is the reflection of the lit candle wicks. if I didn't know already it would scare the crap out of me, but I figured it out in a previous video. I've cleaned the lenses, but I still get that faint reflections of the flames.
Oh thank goodness! 😂
I love this series. are Awesome! My favorites though are the ghost deminsion and then the recent one paranormal activity: next of kin. Their all really good, but id say marked ones is my least favorite of them all. I hope you both decide to watch them all I'm curious how you'll rank them as your favs
Thanks Kirsten! yeah a friend of mine is really advocating for the entire series so that I can get the full story
Please watch the others, they are so good and theres so much in them that will explain things in this movie to
Hey thanks, @Bugster50907! I really appreciate the comment. I definitely wouldn't mind watching more of these.

Great reaction however you mentioned is this going to turn into a scot peterson thing, I actually think if its the scot and lacey peterson case your referring to, I believe he is innocent and that something else happened to lacey.
I like the first two and the other ones are alright; entertaining enough but not worth re-watches the way the first two are. IMO.
Marc is such a cutie! (Not that you're uncute, David. 😊)
Oh Lord you had to go and say that- they'll be no living with him now lol.
