I suggest to use a black & blue pen with a notebook to make notes and a pencil eraser to read ncert 🙂

You don't need reference books, I have just finished 10th grade, i didn't use any extra books just Ncert and sample papers. Though I obviously have not gotten the result yet, I have consistently scored above 93% even in the pre boards.
