Lets Find Out 33 Mango Tasting with Gary Zill 2023

Khaled and John take another adventure down to Florida. Khaled got the opportunity to interview the master of mangos himself, Mr. Gary Zill while John took a shot at filming. The duo got to enjoy many varieties of mango this season which has been plagued by daily rain and thunderstorms. The season was early but Gary was able to pick many varieties for the team. Those of us unlucky enough to live outside of Florida will just have to imagine the wonderful flavors they got to experience.

I think I am the one who named the Juliette variety. I was at the Zill high performance nursery back in eithe 2009 or 2010. Gary’s sister Marlys was running the place. To told me about this new un-named variety that was a seedling of the Julie mango. She said we are looking for a name for it. So I suggested the name Juliette since it was a seedling of the Julie.
Any ways, it was a pleasure to see and hear Gary talk about mangos. This is a documentary for history.

This should have been an epic documentary from the voice of a legend. Unfortunately the audio and video are terrible. Background noises are very distracting.
