  • Hey guys!
    Back again with another Tunisian vlog. We told you we'd be uploading faster! 😂😅 In this episode we get a little bit more familiar with Tunis with the help of Grace's brother, Sam. It is truly an incredible country and rapidly stole a few pieces of our hearts and will keep them forever. We had no expectations going into Tunisia and we left feeling completely full. If you ever have the opportunity to go we 1,000% support that decision and do not think you will regret it. Tunisia is the only Arab muslim nation with a female prime minister and felt almost European at times. We hope you enjoy this next episode of many from Tunisia and will see you in the next one!

    Tunisia has the cleanest water in the world. But because of the high temperatures in the summer, they use more chlorine in the water to keep it safe. This gives the water a bad taste, but it does not make the water unsafe to drink! It can never be the reason to risk dehydration! Especially in the summer months when it is really hot. The water is absolutely safe to drink in Tunisia!

    So, the average Tunisian eats a lot of bread/baguette. They do generally give bread along with your meals in restaurants, maybe they were even more generous because you're tourists, or they thought it can help you ease your tongue and balance the spiciness if you feel the food is too spicy for you (never drink water, it makes it worse). But generally speaking, Tunisians are usually generous people.

    • @ThePunisher014
      @ThePunisher014 9 месяцев назад

      Indeed. That applies for Europe as well. Unless you're a rich American or European, an average Tunisian house is bigger and sturdier, older houses are usually built with stone instead of cheap bricks.. so many pros, only thing is, you're still jobless or working for a blood sucking french firm..

    Generally speaking, we (Tunisians) eat a lot of bread. It's not exactly correct to say "we eat bread with many kinds of food", but we would rather say "we eat many kinds of food with bread".
    For some meals, it's even a replacement for a knife and fork.

    ⚠️It is clear that the Moroccan 🇲🇦identity is strongly present in Tunisia since Tunisia was under the rule of the honorable Moroccan Empire during the Almohad era! This is clear from the shape of the Moroccan doors and arches, as well as the Moroccan utensils, such as the Moroccan tagine, which is imported from Morocco and is offered for sale in Tunisian markets!
