I’ve only been playing guitar for three years but I play like Matt does and people think I’ve been playing my whole life. All I do is play how I think the song should sound.

Hi Matt, been meaning to ask you. You have a ton of beautiful guitars. Which would you consider to be your favorite or top 3? Thank you
What kind of strings do u suggest I have Epiphone dreadnaut it not a very expensive guitar wife got it for me for Xmas a few years ago just recently pick it back up been in the hospital paralyzed from waist down can't stand at all but doctors and therapy's say there still a chance I got strings through Amazon there ok but don't sound like yours what do u uses?
Hey Matt, this is your best video in my opinion. Maybe it’s because Don’t Close Your Eyes is one of my favorite songs (that’s not doowop) and you played it beautifully and gave us a ton of tips. What was the name of the other song you sang afterwards? Also like the way you gave us a look at the similarities to playing these chords to Proud Mary with the strum mute style. You are the best my man and that’s coming from a 70 year old fan of yours! Also, love the way your videos make it seem as if we are right there with you having a one on one conversation about life and guitar playing.
Hey Matt,
Your doing a awesome job, super positive.
I'm just starting to learn guitar and your lessons are helping alot, thanks.
I heard this one on the radio today on my way home from work.
Randy Travis - If I didnt have you.
Would love to learn it.
Thanks again from Canada
Could you please do angel of the night by Derek Ryan ur the best may God bless you
Matt , can you please teach Josh Ross - First taste of gone , thanks
Dadgum that's a beautiful guitar!!
Thanks again for the help
Another question I listen to a lot of music all different kinds how do u remember the words to the songs are u looking at the words too while your playing
If you've heard it enough and sing it enough, it gets memorized. Eventually you'll sing it in your own style and the chords placement will follow your singing. At least that's how it's aged with me. I had a few hundred in my head back in the 70s~mid 80s. Then family and a whole different set of tunes. I need to refresh the old ones, but I'm singing for older folks.
Love this song ,thanks Matt
