As long as it doesn't negatively impact the ability to put a playoff caliber team on the field I don't care. Baseball has been going in this direction more and more each year for nearly 20 years. With that said, Ipersonally enjoy all the numbers things like statcast have provided but I also think there's value in in person evaluation.
I think Ricketts and Hoyer both have been the problem. Ricketts is an issue with his self imposed salary cap and Hoyer is also an issue with the way he's spent the money Ricketts is letting him use.
Does the Ivy system know if Busch can move over to third base so we can move Belli to 1B and sign an outfielder or sign Alonso? Doubt it, but I guess that’s why you have coaches and managers. Seems like a cost cutting move that’ll be dubbed “efficient” just like “intelligent spending” is another word for cheap. Treat Cubs fans like mushrooms: keep us in the dark and feed us shit
Obviously, whatever the Cubs are doing. It’s working very well.
Cubs have proven that analytics doesn’t always win!!

Can never be too rich obviously…the people are dumb
Doesn't not matter if cubs have more Scouts or analytics but the tom ricketts just doesn't not care about winning

Tom ricketts will never pay superstars players like Juan Soto
@@Xxxomar880 Yea he hasn't shown he's been willing to since he's been the owner so I doubt that changes now after nearly 16 years.
