Hey my favourite RUclipsr I got a question for you. Can you make me an episode about detective biology of a Wendigo because it’s my favourite mythological creatures/Cryptids and it could be a species heated to the not deer or a car or some kind of some kind of carnivorous species of ape and as evolved to hunt, deer elk and moose

And also the carnivorous ape idea has been done multiple times so it’s not like you are gonna exploit the idea in one of your videos like King Cesar could be a never carnivore species of ape possibly related to Gigantopithecus or baboons

Both the most obvious but interesting and unlikely approach I've seen, most of the projects tha I've seen trying to explain the not-deer with speculative biology either go with mimicry or with an infection that targets deer, but making the not deer a predatory species of deer it's something I haven't seen.
I see two problems tho. First, the rotting limbs and the explanation for it, altough species that end up harming their own body through their lifestyle or growing pattern exists I have never heard of one that goes to such lengths, and I do believe other explanations for their sombie like behaviour and appearance could be brought up without rotting.
The second problem it's their abilitty to rottate their necks as an owl, the deer skull and vertebral anatomy makes this imposible as it is, however, some similar results could be achieved with changes on it that allow for more flexibility in the vertebrates and the socket that connect them with the skull and that also allow for a greater range of movement
    Great job anyways.

Good job for your design of a deer-mimicking predatory ruminant ❤❤❤

do Coonigator Described as raccoon-like creature but with a face which bears a striking resemblance to an alligator or a crocodile, it also has a rounded torso and a thick coat of grayish fur. It is often mistaken for a raccoon at a distance, but those whom have had the opportunity to get a close look at these unique animals, they were terrified by the creature's faces.

Why would it live in a cave if it hunts deer that aren't located in caves?

Maybe its ancestors didn't have deer as their prefered prey. Altough we would expect to see a loss of antlers for their cave lifestyle.

Sounds like a deer with CWD or rabies. Or a skin walker
