What a crossing. Very interesting layout. Many rail movements. Most enjoyable!!
Yep it is interesting. Thanks 😊
Nice videos of a very nice and unique level crossing - probably my favourite in Devon away from Paignton and the DSR! Interesting how most of the crossing itself is un-changed since my visit, although I do notice a new bell on the dot matrix indicator there. That depot seems to be coming along nicely too! 👍👍
Thank you!! Aye the depot is coming along really nicely. Nothing else has changed and the bell is really nice too. This is also my favourite along with Paignton North aha.
The dodgy alarm is definitely on it's way out. Also I did hear one of the alarms sounds like Scopwick a little bit.
I believe it is broken now as this video is 3 years old haha
Didn’t realise you hit 1K subs. Congrats mate! :)
Lol, thank you! :)
Inquite about the idea of allowing pedestrians across if possible, but was surprised he let the slow old codgers across
Nice one bruv! That crossing needs some TLC aswell!
Cheers Jack! Yeah it does aha
@@DPTrains eeee
10:13 watch the extra wigwag, was that flickering or was it just your camera?
I'm not sure, most likely my phone doing that, never noticed that before lol.
@@DPTrains Idk how I noticed it, never usually pay that sort of attention to anything haha
lol
Having never been a pedestrian here i didnt know they had an indicator showing which line the train(s) was (were) using [2d, 6u]. Does any one know if this is the widest on the network ?
The widest level crossing in the UK is Helpston Level Crossing along with Maxey being very close behind. The route indicators are for the LC supervisors so that they know where to look for if they’re guiding pedestrians.
Nice video, from my other channel lol 😂
y e s
red cow? anyway good video when did you go there
Lol. Thanks! Went during the half term.
I hope they fix or replace the broken alarms very soon
Yeah same here.
@@DPTrains R u gonna do Pinhoe level crossing coz there's 1 there
@@hobbyproductions18 That is the next video to come out :)
@@DPTrains O cool I can't wait to see it
The alarm was fighting with the Impostors
lol
Will the alarms get fixed?
Not sure Nathan, I would imagine it will soon if the workers report it.
noice :P
Cheers :D
Perhaps the most reckless I’ve seen at a level crossing allowing people to cross with lowered barriers...
Happens all the time here. The crossing guard monitors allows it as long as there's no train near.
