Hey, man. This is probably the most thorough controller video I've seen in the past decade, and I've seen a lot. I wanted to ask your opinion, since you seem to really know your stuff: my buttons are feeling really mushy, particularly R and A button, which I know get a lot of use. I've cleaned the membranes, and while they seem to be in perfectly fine condition and responsive, it just never makes a difference when I reassemble the controller.
I know I can't give you any more information than that, but in your experience, do you think it's time to replace the membranes? Thanks in advance.

      @@Fred-vh1mk Thanks, that means a lot! 😊
I would try swapping out the membranes from a different controller and see if they feel better. It most likely is the membranes from getting so much use out of them over the years. They're made out of a silicone/rubber material and their "bounciness" can degrade

@Imperaptor77 Thanks for the swift response. My other controller has the same issue, so I think I'll try out the aftermarket membranes I have.
I always appreciate seeing someone with such thoroughness and attention to detail to what is, as we all know, an incredibly niche hobby.
