Hello Juan And Mom That’s A Beautiful Stitch And You Crochet Sooo Beautifully You Explain It Very Well Thanks You Hope You And Your Mom Have A Blessed Night And Sweet Dream ♥️🌺🌹🦋
Live this easy stitch. I'm saving all of your tutorials and I'm going to make a blanket from each tutorial for each different stitch. Calling it the Juan colague of stitches.
Yay I’m first, I just watched the left handed and love it it’s the perfect stitch for a baby blanket I’m making for my new niece, I couldn’t find a pattern that fit and this is perfect thank you so much love the videos and help u give us!!! Keep up the amazing work Christina in Pittsburgh pa ❤
Thank you so much, I really like this pattern. I appreciate you Juan so much, I'm 83 and have lots of yarn and want to make blankets to leave to my grandchildren and greats. What I don't use they can have it as I have taught many of them to crochet. Pat in Texas
Hari OM Fab... what I am appreciating, even as an experienced crocheter, is your clear and patient explanation for each working, which is giving me a fresh view on all the things! YAM xx
So proud of you! Since I have no mind left, I might be able to do this! Ha! Ha! And you did it in Red Heart Ombré pink!! You make me so happy! Actually I am thinking a purple blanket is overdue…
Hey Juan, I have a challenge for you. Can you take this stitch & make a cardigan with it. I'm tired of doing blankets with new stitches, oh don't forget the tutorial 😊
I love this stich!! I've used this for a cacoon cardi, and watching the tutorial I think it would look so beautiful in a triangle scarf. If you don't come up with a tutorial Imma have break my head figuring it out🙊🙊🙈🙈
Hi Juan 👋, i really like this one! It looks like it could be a cousin ti the C2C. I might make a baby blanket for my niece whos not yet here with this stitch. Thanks! Im loving Juan The Yarn addicts Stitch Academy so far 😊
I can make this pattern for scarf ,shawl. I like it. Thank you 🙏😊. I will watch few more times and then I will crochet alongside with you. I’m a beginner, slow and visual learner. I guess I’m slow because I’m an elderly. I also can’t understand patterns. Thank you again and I will be watching your video..
It is scalloped on all sides…moreso on top/bottom than left/right. In order to join a border would be needed. I may create a tutorial for this to help everyone :)
I am *terrible* with chains, like the worst. Usually I start with a foundationless single or double crochet. What's the multiple that I would start with for my FSC/FDC? Would it still be 4 + 5?
Hello Juan, can these shells be made of 7 or 9 double crochet to make a more prominent shell? I made a shawl ( triangle) many years ago. It looks like 3 dimension shells, it was beautiful. Someone taught me how to make it and I don't know who or how to do it. I've nights books but can't find the pattern anywhere. Let me know please. I love your channel!! Your mom is awesome too!!
@@shastahill I mean pet friendly as to if paws can easily get tangled in any gaps. Best fiber content would be great to know as I never thought of that part . So Thank you.
Oh, thank you, Kathrine! Getting tangled was kind of what i was imagining yet poorly wording. I appreiate you filling me in and so thoughtfully sharing with the four-legged dears. Hobbii sells 100% recycled cotton yarn which i've been wanting to try. The price is nice, especially in quantity. Seems to me it could work well for such charity blankets, washing easily and whatnot. Btw, I recently bought my elderly cat a beautiful hand-knit, wool sweater. She seemed to appreciate the warmth, yet my rookie oversight became apparent the first night when she tried grooming her chest. Velcro tongues can felt wool fibers in no time, ha.
Great tutorial! I learned a new stitch! Thank you. Is there any way to straighten the top edge? Edit: Crystal at Bag o Day shows how to straighten the top edge in hers. You guys rock.
Border isn’t necessary…the texture on the edges is beautiful as is… but if you’d like, just one of many ideas for a border…you could do a shell border in all the jug handles along the edges.

Hi Juan 😊
Thank you so much for sharing this! I just finished a blanket based on your tutorial! ❤
I will add a foundation stitch 1st because it looks to raggedy without one. 😊
❤❤❤❤❤
I won. I love the stitch I was just wondering how can you make the edges straighter and the top to match the bottom if you’re making a blanket❤
U are a wonderful teacher. I am slow to catch on. Could u make some tutorials for new comers or for slow people
You are inspiring me.. Is this two hard for a raw beginner? I love the raspberry pink as well. I know pink is not your favorite!
Everyone can do it!!
Love this stitch and although I'm , I could follow along. Now, I need to know, could you join blocks of this? Is it scalloped on all sides?
It is scalloped on all sides…moreso on top/bottom than left/right. In order to join a border would be needed. I may create a tutorial for this to help everyone :)
@@JuanTheYarnAddict That would be great. Thanks!
Hello juan absolutely beautiful. How do you finish it off at the end to look like the beginning Of the pattern
Juan I hit the like button the left hand version of this stitch too! ❤❤

Hi Rosie!! I believe you can! It may eat a lot of yarn but I’d imagine how warm that will be!
Makes a nice pattern. A better take on C2C.
I didn't know the name of this stitch. I do this pattern when I do C2C
Hi are you doing the Hobbii No shades of gray challenge?..😊
I think so! 😊
🐾🐾🐞🐞
Hi can I do 2 chains instead of 3 to make it less opened
I want to make a skirt with this, how do I go in the round?
Sorry meant I will make
Isn't this like the Straight c2c ???
Hello all. This is so beautiful. Would someone be able to tell me if this stitch would be pet friendly? I am making animal blankets for charities
That’s a really good question. I’ll ask around as well and get back to you if someone else doesn’t before I do!
Thanks so much
Huh! What makes a stitch pet-friendly or not? Tendency to snag perhaps? I just think of natural fibers being safer and healthier than synthetic.

Hi Sharon, Juan is doing the tutorials for the squares and the blanket on Tuesdays. Hope this helps😊

I tried making a hat, did not look nice. This beautiful stitch is for large projects as he said: blankets...
