Every time I watch this, I get a smile. This is wholesome fun that I have actually witnessed in many black family gatherings. I wish we could see more movies showing the entire black community experience and not just negative sensationalized archetypes. Sometimes we are just living laughing and enjoying life…
I have noticed it is always the same archetypes in black casted movies. I'm glad that they only felt the need to display that they are successful educated people who have worked hard to get where they are and have reunited again for a time of festive fun. Show how they are more than just friends, they are family

I watched this movie on BET for the first time a couple of nights ago and I can attest that this is the best movie that portrayed good actors and actresses and it was so real. With every emotion that the movie portrayed, I felt it. I laughed, got mad, and cried. This movie gets an AAAAA+++++. Oh yes, I cannot forget the scene where the guys did that song. That was on point.
