    Great angling. Putting that aside, it's a real joy when you include Katie in your videos. I've had 4 sons. {all grown up now}, and as a result there's a huge soft spot for little girls deep within me. I've a gorgeous granddaughter, but I seldom see her. So it's a proper treat when you share a little of your sweet Katie.

    Great vid Jon, i used to work at british waterways and fished this place and clattercote quite a bit in the early 2000s as we got free permits. Back then it was largely method feeder and 18 carp would have got you about 60 odd pounds! the fish were a lot smaller, 3s and 4s mainly but hectic fishing. Actually i preferred clattercote as you also could get big bags of decent tench just off the trees in the margins if the carp were on an off day. Might have to venture back down soon

      The'yre even bigger than Boddington's on average in Clattercote now!

    Hello John. I use floats at times exactly the same as you were using, my old man brought a job lot off of a angler at Drayton Reservoir so if you are after any don't hesitate to contact me.
    Boddington and Drayton Reservoir fish pull like nothing I've ever experienced before and yes you definitely need a bait runner as the bites are as you put it Savage! Well fished! 👍

    great vid jonnny. could you do a short vid on your set up? would be interesting to see your pellet wag set up for venues like boddingtons. do you use a light reel line and shock leader etc

    • @JonArthur
      @JonArthur 6 лет назад +1

      One rod has 6lb line. Lighter rod has 5lb with a short 8lb leader just to keep the float stops from moving. I’m going to do some more instructional vids soon, so watch this space.

    Hello. Nice video. What distance are you fishing with the method?

    • @JonArthur
      @JonArthur 3 года назад

      On that venue in summer, from 25m to 70m. In winter 60-100m.
