    Hi Amy, I am surprised you didn't use copper mica instead. Great video! I'm going to try to do this on an ugly cheap lamp I found in my attic. I painted over the paper scene with black paint. Then with a verdigris colored craft paint. Distressed it with my hand sander to bring out the black. Now you've got me scheming to try your method here. I wish images could be attached to RUclips comments so I could show you before and after. I sprayed hammered copper paint on plastic ceiling tiles. Then I applied this verdigris color latex paint on top. I then wipe off most of it to reveal the copper tile. The tiles look like old tin ceiling tiles. I'm putting them on my 2 small bathroom ceilings and my kitchen backsplash. Always enjoy your videos because you are so sweet.

    I've done verdigris finishes with paint on plant stands, vases and canvas art but it would be awesome to be able to do it this way.... #shared
