I had the chance to meet Roberto Clemente Jr. in the the early 90’s as I was working for adidas’s at the time and he was doing promotions in Latin America.
Awesome Clemente showcase collection run.. These are all very nice from the RC to that 73topps.. Love the autograph you have Mike I'm sure was tough to get and not cheap either.. Nicely done sir.. Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾😷
Roberto clemente is the only baseball player that makes me feel sad when I see his baseball cards, I recently bought a 72' topps # 309, they did a commemorative recreation of his 3000 hit in puerto rico and it's really emotional, Ivan Rodriguez participated if anyone has the chance to watch it's epic.
Great Clemente collection...Love the 1960 and 63...He also has a B/W card in the 1969 Milton Bradley Baseball Game..Its as small as the 1951 Bowman cards ...Not talking about the 1970 Topps game..I have it..
Amazing group of a complete Clemente run Mike! That auto especially is super bold, looks awesome. Definitely near the top of the list of guys I need to get! Thanks for sharing!
Are you planning to get more Clementes? For example there is the 1964 Topps Giants, the Kahn's Wieners, bazookas, Post. I also recommend some of the O-Pee-Chee "parallels", most notably the 1971 yellow back (super expensive, though). There are also some League Leader cards with Clemente...
He's got a great collection, but you're there are others. other Topps are 1968 deckle, 1965 embossed, 1964 Topps giant, 1970 and 1971 Topps Super and the rare 1971 Kelloggs and the 1972 Kelloggs; also the 1964 and 1971 Topps coins!
Nice run of Clemente you got especially your rookie it's a great looking 4. I bought a 56 PSA 7 about 3 years ago and thought I over paid but boy was I wrong but I got alot of work to complete his run. I'm a lot closer on mantle , May's and Aaron. Want to finish those runs minus the 52 and 51 May's and mantle. Those are way out of my league
Impressive collection! So is that 63 Fleer his first "Roberto" card? He died sending relief to Nicaragua actually and I remember doing a book report about him in high school.
Great vid Mike , always dug his last card , 1973 Topps , to me it looks like it was taken in late afternoon, maybe sunset , always thought it was a fitting end to his Topps run
These are amazing...love the 60 and 71...they just happen to be from a couple of World Series title years, too, which doesn't hurt. Congrats on completing the run.
Do you know if the special black and white deckle card o pee chee or/ Topps edition from 1969 count as a card?:p And do you know if its worth something?
Cool video but not a complete run; keep working on it...other Topps are 1968 deckle, 1965 embossed, 1964 Topps giant, 1970 and 1971 Topps Super and the rare 1971 Kelloggs and the 1972 Kelloggs; oh and 1964 and 1971 Topps coins!
@@BaseballCollector I like your videos a lot and this one is very cool. Clemente was such a great player and such a decent person. You could knock out those others and do a follow up! And yes; you got every regular Topps issue of Clemente, which is really what matters the most. You could drive yourself crazy getting all his cards if you start getting the ones I mentioned and league leader cards. Thanks for making videos.
@@BaseballCollector I just watched one of your videos on the National from 3 weeks ago and I should go next year. I haven't been to a card show since the late 1970's, but your video is a reminder that collecting cards should be more than just money and checking off a list of cards needed. Your videos are a reminder of socializing and just having fun with cards. I hope it comes to the northeast; I'm out in the country on farmland in Upstate NY and don't fly!
Great Video again!!!!!!! I always enjoy watching all your great content! Thanks again!!!!
I appreciate it Lyn.

That is a pricey one Chris.
Awesome Clemente run. Always been a fan of the 68 game set too. excellent examples!
Thanks! 👍
Now that’s my kind of video! Your rookie is amazing looking! I love that card.
Thanks John. I am really happy with the rookie too.
Great looking set! I’m also working on his Topps run all in PSA 6 or higher about half way there. Thanks for sharing!
That will be a helluva run.
Wow you have a ton of his cards !! They are so cool. I like the format you have to show us his cards. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you like them Lisa!!
The '56 action picture is actually from Ebbets Field. That's the Esquire Boot Polish sign. You can find the original B&W photo online.
Awesome Clemente showcase collection run.. These are all very nice from the RC to that 73topps.. Love the autograph you have Mike I'm sure was tough to get and not cheap either.. Nicely done sir.. Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾😷
Thanks Jackie. You are correct about the auto!!

Beautiful collection! Always loved the 56 and 71. Thanks for sharing
I love those two as well!!

Fantastic
Thanks
This video reminded me that I need to start a 1960 set. Great run!
Go for it!
Amazing Clemente run Mike! That RC is amazing! Clemente really doesn’t have a bad card but I am a big fan of his 71, 60 and 72 cards!
Beautiful run! Congrats on completing it!

You bet Jim. Thanks for continuing to watch my craziness!!
Mike I'll watch your videos as long as you keep putting them out! I don't comment on all as I don't wanna be a oain but rest asured I do watch em all.

Thanks G-money!!

Nice collection looks great together
I think so too!
Very nice collection.
Thank you! Cheers!
Great run Mike. The 68 set has another clemente managers dream card 480 that's another good one to add. My favorite is the 56 thanks for showing
Thanks Dean. The '68 one is still one I need to add.
Very cool collection!
Thanks!
Always gotta love a all time greats player run!!! Fantastic!!
Thanks Josh. No doubt.
Great job on the clemente run mike you gotta get the 1958 yellow lettering it's not cheap the 63 fleer is my favorite great job bud take care💥💥💥💥
That is one on my radar for sure!!
Clemente is one of my all time favorites of any sport! That slab run is AWESOME 👍
Great run and nice cards. You need the yellow letters 1958 version.
Awesome Clemente run Mike! That 55 is beautiful! I love the 70 Kellogg’s and the 71 Topps is one of my favorites of his!
Man, those are absolute beauties. Really love the 55! Need that one for my 55 set but haven't found one at the right price yet.
I’m a Bob Veale fan too! So jealous of that auto piece.
Not cheap!!
Very nice. A run in any grade displays well.
Yes indeed!
nice clemente run. my favorites are his 70 & 71.
Thanks Ray!!
Great run Mike! That rookie is a great example, and I never get tired of seeing that signature!
Thanks George. I never get tired of looking at it.
Beautiful run Mike! You need to add the 1968 "Manager's Dream" card with Tony Oliva and Chico Cardenas. Thanks for sharing!
Good call!
Hi. Awesome. Will you go for jello, post cereal etc. and leader cards?
I have all of the leader cards
Nice run of Clemente you got especially your rookie it's a great looking 4. Want to finish those runs minus the 52 and 51 May's and mantle. Those are way out of my league
Those cards are out of most people's leagues. For Mantle, I still need a 53 Topps, a 52 Topps (Obviously) and a 52 Bowman
Impressive collection! So is that 63 Fleer his first "Roberto" card? He died sending relief to Nicaragua actually and I remember doing a book report about him in high school.
His rookie and '56 Topps cards have his name as Roberto.
Very impressive
Thanks Daniel. I appreciate it.
Great vid Mike , always dug his last card , 1973 Topps , to me it looks like it was taken in late afternoon, maybe sunset , always thought it was a fitting end to his Topps run
I dig that one too.
I like his 1972 card it sticks out his final card is also beautiful ?
I also like his rookie very nice, all of his cards stick out.
Moy bien Miquel!
Gracias Senor!!!
These are amazing...love the 60 and 71...they just happen to be from a couple of World Series title years, too, which doesn't hurt. Congrats on completing the run.
Thanks Sarah!!
Nice run of the best player in Pittsburgh history mike!
Great showcase Mike. I thought I was subscribed.
Well welcome back Tony!!
@@BaseballCollector 👍
Great run Mike I loved it. I was really surprised to see the auto at the end. If you get a chance try picking up his 1964 Topps Stand Up
Thanks Don. That is a card I need to look for. I know it is not cheap.
Great job with the Clemente run. I've never seen some of those non-Topps cards before
Thanks Max. Fun to find the obscure sometimes.
Thanks!!
The run looks great Mike. He had a lot of nice cards. My favorites are the 60, 56 and 71. You have beautiful examples. Congrats on completing!
Thanks. I love those three years as well.
Nice:)
Thanks Brian.
Just bought the 59 in a PSA 6.5.
That is a great card for sure.
Auto >>>>>>>> rookie >>>>> other things you got
Hi. Do you have kellogg's cards collection only made in P.R.??
No, I do not.
@@BaseballCollector i Just have #2, if you Know someone that get #1and #3 Write me please.
Do you know if the special black and white deckle card o pee chee or/ Topps edition from 1969 count as a card?:p
And do you know if its worth something?
They do count as a card. Not really worth a ton. Maybe $10 depending on condition
Thank you a lot!!! You are amazing.:)
You need a Topps 1964 Giant to add to your super collection
You are right!! I do need to get one of those.
Ok. I will rename the video. It is a complete base Topps run.

The National is in Atlantic City next year. That will be as close as it ever gets to you.
@@BaseballCollector Very cool and thanks for letting me know; that's only about 3 hours away
How much for a of them? I'm interested.
I appreciate it, but they are not for sale.
@@BaseballCollector how about 3000
Thanks for the offer, but they are seriously not for sale.
I always wanted to get those cards. If you want I could pay for 5,300 dollars for it if you want.
forbes field didn't have ads on the walls. the '56 background was at ebbets field.
I don’t believe the he “hated” being called Bob
That '72 tops last Clemente card, what's it's worth in the condition in video?. 5:11 5:11
IF you mean the 1973 Topps, then it is $175-$200
