WHFB is a great station! I listen to it on my Sony 506 when I’m at the beach in Indiana. That metal station out of Zion cracks me up. I use to live in Zion, so I could tune it.
Hi Todderbert, thanks for the bands scans with the Sony IF-38. I love analog radios. I would love to have this Sony radio. Take care, Todderbert, and have a nice day.
Hey Todderbert, oh yes, I can tell you, Mr. Todderbert, that I am having a very good day. The Wurkkos FC11C flashlight and Retekess TR-605 radio arrived today, so I am having a very good evening in Sweden. I really like the way Wurkkos' FC11C looks, and it is very nice to hold. Also, the small Retekess TR-605 radio looks very nice, so I have a lot to test but have to wait until it gets darker outside longer before I test flashlights because it gets dark at midnight, but it's bright again already at 2:00 a.m. at night. But yes it's be interesting to test my new flashlights in the dark forest later take care Todderbert.
Any truth to the story that ZZ Top's famous song "Jesus Just Left Chicago" was based on AM skip from WLS in Chicago that could be heard all the way down to Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas? Apparently a sermon broadcast on WLS and heard in Texas inspired the song.
I recognized that the receptions with internal antenna is much bettter if i attach an external aktive antenna not powerered, not complete Insert the plug. The switch is on internal antenna. The radio is Elite sattelite and LC90. What is the reason? Sw 6070 kHz. Germany.
Brother Stair on MW? 😱 Just casually tuning through SW will get you Brother Stair or something in Spanish. I'm mostly MW wave these days. I have this radio, very good on MW.
How old is the radio? It’s nice that it has a red LED for both a.m. and FM. You don’t see that very often with any radio. My aunt and uncle had a stereo a while ago that had a green tuning light and a red FM stereo light. The green light worked on both and FM, but the red light was just for stereo., and I am wondering if any AM stereo units have a stereo indicator light for a.m.?
@@RJDA.Dakota I have heard a lot of good things about the CFS6000. It’s really sad about AM stereo in that by the time a standard was agreed on in 1993, AM was gradually starting to decline. Someone on here has some recordings of WOWO he got via sky wave and WOWO was broadcasting in stereo and it sounded great.
It was discontinued not to long ago …I bought mine for $25.00 at Walmart about 10 years ago, 2014 or 2015, I think …they were pretty scarce for awhile, but now there are stacks of them on EBay …easily get one $ 30-35 total…really nice size and great to have the AC cord in the back

I am Ismail from Morocco, a lover and fan of radios since I was young and until now. Thank you, sir, for the wonderful offer, and I hope it continues.
This is one of my favorite radios to hit the AM waves with! Yeah baby!
Very cool old school radio! It looks like something from my childhood or more like something we might have had in our kitchen.
This is one of my favorites

Oh, I can hear that happening, since I can pick up WWL here in the NW Burbs of Chicago.

I hear Stair now during the day on Medium Wave....ugh.
I paid a dollar for mine at a thrift store. Radio sounds good.

I had sn SRF A 100 and all it ever had was the red LED for the signal strength. The CFS 6000 radio cassette corder was the same way.

No more chips are left to make the Tecsun PL-660 and 680.
👍👍👍👍
We got one in the St. Louis market on 770 called WEW. I hate when the so called MC has already passed on. It seems wrong on it’s surface.
