Extractor Fan Hole Size

My wall has already got an existing hole size of 122 mm or 4.8 inch. So, what do you think the correct size extraction fan would be?
Depending on your extraction fan size, you'd need to cut the appropriate hole size onto the wall or ceiling.
Correct hole size based on the extraction fan size is as follows:
100 mm or 4 inch extraction fan - 112 mm or 4.5 inch hole size
120 mm or 5 inch extraction fan - 140 mm or 5.5 inch hole size
150 mm or 6 inch extraction fan - 173 mm or 6.75 inch hole size

What should be the size of hole for 12inch exhaust fan?

Are you sure it's a 12 inch (30.5 cm)? Is it for a commercial kitchen? I don't recommend a 12 inch fan for a house. It's too big of a hole in the structure (wall). You could instead have 2 x 6 inch fans at 2 different locations. Otherwise, check the manual of the 12 inch fan. But making such a big hole on a single wall not gonna be easy & can be dangerous.
