Not to mention the owners of Fountain Bowl used to own 4 centers around So. CA and this is the only one still in operation. It's hard to want to bowl again seriously knowing it seems to be in such decline.

As a league bowler, is it legal to have a pin put back on spot? I've never seen anyone ever ask for the pin to be re-spotted?
the pinsetter caused the pin to be off spot the bowler can as for a re spot of the the pins.
It is if the pin was moved by the machine, which can happen. If it is moved off spot before the machine comes down, it stays where it has moved to.
that happens to me all time it gives me practice on 10 pin most of time even though it was not the pin I was suppose hit for the spare
