I may be the odd one out but I like shower curtains 😂 I feel like if I stick it to the wall correctly once I’m in the shower (also use a shampoo bottle on the edge of the tub to hold it in place) it keeps the warmth in better than anything else. I also grew up with a shower curtain so maybe that’s why. Lol. Love you guys!

As a chef I was squealing with excitement for all the cheese facts that you guys could learn, there are multiple kinds of blue cheese, in fact, Gorgonzola IS blue cheese, there is also Roquefort (France), Cabrales (spain) and many more…. In Europe it is used a lot in making creamy sauces for meat, chicken, etc. And also just eaten with crackers, jams, fruits, etc… Loved this episode ❤
The best American cheese is Land O’ Lakes from the deli. It’s the perfect cheese for a grilled cheese…ultimate creamy goodness. Also, you have to try the best turkey sandwich. First, you’ll need: oven-roasted turkey (from the deli), Muenster cheese, sliced tomato, mayo, a smidge of spicy brown mustard, and wheat bread. Lightly toast the bread. Spread mayo fairly thick on one piece, then drop just a drop of the mustard in the center. Gently swipe the mustard drop with a knife to spread it lightly over the mayo. While the bread is toasting, stack your slices of turkey (as you would on your sandwich) on a small plate. For the next layer, add the tomato slices and lightly salt. Grind pepper over as well if you like. Then top with a slice (or two) of Muenster cheese. Microwave for 30-45 seconds to lightly melt the cheese and warm the rest. Add to your toast, with mayo/mustard side against the turkey. Enjoy. 😋
Just a word of caution: if you put yourself down in front of your kids, "I'm so ugly" "eww why do I look like that" etc. They will learn to do that to themselves too even if you tell them they're beautiful.
Bleu Cheese addict here! It is good on basically anything cheese would be good on. Bleu cheese and bacon brussel sprouts are sooo good. It is the best salad dressing in my opinion. We were out of mayo, my husband used it for sandwiches, great! I am not alone, my whole family loves it. With that said I just kept hearing the Lubalin "blue cheese has mold on it" song during the conversation.
Colleen! Avocados are very expensive and go bad quickly so most restaurants upcharge to cover the costs and they portions are smaller. Also, a garnish is anything that is added for decoration. The lettuce is the garnish for guacamole 😊
Colleen, If Eric's body temperature is cooler than yours, he can feel like the water is hot on his skin in the shower and you feel it is lukewarm....Love your podcast!

I appreciate the shower curtain conversation lol. I have a mild fear of the shower curtain to the extent that I can not have it touch me and I have had night mares about getting caught in it and even suffocating in it. But I agree that I can not not have one because I need the heat so my solution is to use soap bottles to keep the curtain away from me. I put them on the edge of the tub through the curtain so it will not move and I use water to make the edges stick to the wall. Hope this helps someone lol.

Shower curtain rod...my goodness...Adjust the tension, if it's falling. Or get a permanent installation. Make sure the rod is clean, and the gap-ring is in place for the connection spot of an adjustable tension rod. How do the both of you not know basic things?
SHOWER CURTAIN LIFE HACk: put ur bottles of shampoo/body wash along the bottom ledge of shower to keep it in place & far far away from you!!! works every time. (unless you are low on body wash/shampoo & the bottles aren't heavy enough to hold curtain down)😉😊🤠
My friend recently had a cheese themed party and they all got different cheese names. He was the mouse kings and some of his friends were, provolone, Swiss, and cottage cheese. They also had a cheese fountain.

I just thought you should know in case it is still available in your area. Be warned, it has a tiny sprinkling of the dred shredded lettuce on top of the river of mayonnaise.
Registered Dental Assistant here and it’s completely normal for babies/infants/toddlers kids in general to grind there teeth especially when they are teething. They will more than likely grow out of it but there can be severe cases of teeth grinding in children. I doubt it will get that bad but you can always keep an eye on it.

On the Dahmer thing, I have always disliked the way that movies and tv shows portray serial killers, even did my senior thesis on it in High school. However, this show is the first show that I have ever seen be for the victims. I cannot name a single John Wayne Gacy victim let alone a Ted bunch victim. I can name almost all of Dahmer’s now and I can tell you some of their backstories and it showed that these were human beings with families. I have never seen an episode focused on just the victim and his family, dahmer wasn’t even in it until the end of the episode. I felt like it brought a lot of awareness to the homophobia and racism that occurred and showed how preventable this was if he had gotten help or if the cops had listened. I really enjoyed the show but it is very gory!
I was like you with bleu cheese UNTIL someone made a buffalo and bleu cheese ball for a work carry in and it was so freaking good. I was like listen I need the recipe and she said I don't want to give it because people are funny about one ingredient 😂 sure enough I nagged her until she gave it up. I still havent enjoyed bleu cheese in anything else but that cheese ball is the exception to the rule.
Colleen my recommendation is to just ask for the guacamole and sour cream on the side. Not as an extra but just ask for them to put it separate from the food so you can enjoy it at your own leisure.
They do that here in Texas with Mexican food with the half dollop of sour cream and guacamole (which I generally don't like out because the only way I like my guacamole is mashed up avocado with some garlic salt and some sambal or sriracha for heat and salt and pepper..no tomatoes, no weird stuff) which they put on a pile of lettuce.. I guess to make you think you are getting more? We had Mexican food tonight and it was soo good.

Omg my food wants are exactly like yours Colleen. It drives my family crazy. I am also susceptible to outside influences. If I see or hear about something I then want to eat it. It has to be something I like and I am really not picky and eat a wide variety of foods. You look great for two hours of sleep btw❤️❤️❤️

Colleen my recommendation is to just ask for the guacamole and sour cream on the side. Not as an extra but just ask for them to put it separate from the food so you can enjoy it at your own leisure.
I know I'm late but a better recommendation is to eat the enchilada with the lettuce.

They do that here in Texas with Mexican food with the half dollop of sour cream and guacamole (which I generally don't like out because the only way I like my guacamole is mashed up avocado with some garlic salt and some sambal or sriracha for heat and salt and pepper..no tomatoes, no weird stuff) which they put on a pile of lettuce.. I guess to make you think you are getting more? We had Mexican food tonight and it was soo good.
Blue cheese salmon is incredible. It smells like swass but it’s delicious with a dill dip…yes please!! Try it ❤

Omg my food wants are exactly like yours Colleen. It drives my family crazy. I am also susceptible to outside influences. If I see or hear about something I then want to eat it. It has to be something I like and I am really not picky and eat a wide variety of foods.
