It's great to see Dick's pro stock is still around. His cars were all so cool. I'm currently reading Geoff Stunkard's "Landy's Dodges: The Mighty Mopars of "Dandy" Dick Landy". I highly recommend this book. There is an unbelievable amount of detail about the cars, the races, and the man's incredible career. Thank you so much for all of these MCACN videos!
Back in either 69 or 70 was at the US Nationals with some friends walking among the pro stock section of the pits when this car pulled up none of us had ever seen before and none of us knew what it was followed it a short way and when it parked out climbed Landy that was the first Challenger i ever saw chatted a short time nice guy
Hello Darren, hey thanks for being on my RUclips channel. There is some socks of Martin content on my channel look through it. Thanks so much for your comments. 😎👍
Just a little bit of surplus information for you. Iv'e heard that Dick Landy bought an early Honda CR 250 M ( silver model) motocross bike, and he decided he wasnt a fan of two strokes , so he took the motor out and repowered it with a Honda XL350 four stroke motor, pretty cool.
