    Love your videos bro! We hear the actual amp, Not over edited and processed garbage that would make any amp sound good. The fact that you buy your own gear and sell it to fund the next product to get your channel off the ground is awesome. A lot of these channels dick ride all day to get the #TeamFreeShit and want everything handed to them for free. Mad respect for your hard work!

    I finally got a Friedman BE 100 & it can go from sparkly bright clean to super saturated, compressed, high gain metal with a smooth, high end. BE 100 covers multiple sounds and tones for me with its two channels, 3 modes (clean, BE, HBE) and a multitude of dip switches.
    However, the Butterslax just seems to do just one narrow spectrum of sound with its 3 dedicated channels: not very clean to really sharp, brash gain, to just too much gain.
    Yet, both amps cost exactly the same new: $4K each. Easy to see which is the better value.

      There's a high end market for everything. Here, you're talking about a company that operates in California, making hand wired amps (very labor intensive) with top shelf components. Of course there is a markup, as they exist to make money as one of their primary reasons. You also have to consider, the market dictates pricing as well. If nobody paid $3,900 for this amp, Friedman would be forced to lower their prices to sell amps, or they would go under. If they're still here, it means people are buying them

    • @Bognerman14
      @Bognerman14 3 года назад

      @@belligerentamateur Very true. A big part of it is country of manufacture. I like buying US or Canadian built amps for that reason. We get slammed buying German amps, although I have bought a few, and paid for it, lol.
