So he can be married and not influenced by in laws. Same independent life if the girl wants, she needs to be single right.. Hats off to ur statement.

I faced a kind of similar situation with a so called psychologist but not this extreme.
People who are working with the mind should be thoroughly scrutinized...even more than MBBS doctors. But that is not the case... Anybody with a Bsc psychology even with 40% marks who has omitted more than half of the syllabus can call themselves a psychologist and give therapy... This is a very very dangerous trend... This cannot be normalised.. This should be strictly addressed. Otherwise damage caused cannot be reversed.

She says she will not run towards marriage. If it comes to her with a right person, she will accept it. After all she's a human being too. We all tend to run away from something that caused trauma, but if it's the same thing that is bound to bring happiness and peace in the future, we understand that the trauma was not tied of the event/scenario, it was tied to the person. That's when we will be willing to embrace it and not run away from it.

Thappa nenaikdheenga nu comfortably you cannot bash someone without being in their shoes . I never advertise or promote myself as an architect . I do “interior design” and you won’t find a page or handle where I promote my business or ask for opportunities. All of my work opportunities are through word of mouth where someone has been extremely satisfied with the kind of work I do, and they’ve passed some prospect to me. I’m not behind anyone ‘s validation. And also on the mental health part , did I call myself a psychiatrist or psychologist or am I conducting workshops and taking money from people !?? I share scenarios from my life experience and a lot of people resonate with it and have found it useful. Financial cushion ??? I’m saying this out in public, I don’t take a single penny from my parents. All of the so called “cushion” that you see are all my hard earned money . I at least do my research before designing a house or talking about mental health. You do yours, before you comfortably complain about someone. I’m at a very comfortable space in life, coz all the trust people have had on me both on work and mental level . Hope that’s loud an clear and nothing comes easy in life :) my life is not the space to project your insecurities. I hope you heal and don’t go around spreading so much negativity. #alllovenohate

There is never a perfect match, ppl are in hurry and no patience to even think on how to make relationships work..very conveniently breaking and calling themselves a proud divorce. @deepikasrinivasan5903 Месяц назад

@diwakardayalan when you say with current mother in laws who are working it might not be case. It completely depends. Where are still living in a world where one women is the sole reason for another women's spoilt life and spoilt peace. There could be women who are rushing to end relationships. But that's a point where they probably realized they are the only ones fighting to work things out. Most men are not taught how to handle marriage especially when they live in a joint family setup. The woman is brought into the house as a maid is expected to run the house just like how the mother in law did it. Considering the MIL was a housewife and the DIL is a working women, men don't stand up for their wife in front of their wives regarding sharing household chores. The DIL loses her freedom, her peace and most importantly her self respect. That's when she is bound to think nuclear setup is the best and is best for her and her child's mental peace. And at this point, her character is assassinated where people say she broke the family. Only when men understand what women go through in a joint family, they will be able to support joint family setup

@@deepikasrinivasan5903this is exactly what uninformed and scared Indian parents do to their children in the name of arranged marriage . So sick of this mentality . As a lawyer who has been dealing with matrimonial disputes , I can say that for most part it's the parents who are the main reason for matrimonial traumas experienced by the children. Most parents just want to get their child married. And whether two individuals are compatible and respectful to each other is not even their concern . I'm really tired and sick of seeing such kinda parents and undergoing the same pressure at my home too.

@@deepikasrinivasan5903 That's not my point, I merely present the other side of delaying marriage till 37. I never advocated for arrange marriage or childhood marriage, I am saying people should put some thought in their 20s on the kind of lifestyle they want. And if having children is important to them try to settle with a person quick instead of delaying as it greatly affects their chances of having kids. I am in the US and I see that people whose priority is to have children are regretting late marriage and child birth. Its important to see both the pros and cons of late marriage. There is no guarantee that you'll find a perfect partner if u keep searching for years, there is a point where you got to compromise in favor of your priority.
