When troubles come, (and come they will), I believe it is wise to turn to these verses from Isaiah. Also, Ephesians 1: 4-6 Revelation 7: 15-17 Revelation 21: 1,2 God loves us so much He declares we are His-- He redeemed us from sin and death; He comforts us as only a Heavenly Father can. He's My God. He wipes away sorrow. He bears my burdens. He stills the storms. He's My God. I have played the CD, "This is the Year of Jubilee " many, many times. "He's My God " got my attention fairly quickly, at first, for the music arrangement. The verses and chorus (to me) have a very different sound. Yet the song is perfect. I love it! So, this hymn became a new favorite. Happy to see it on YT tonight. Troubles came my way recently. We Christians will have to face adversity, but we have God as our ever-present, always ready Helper for those times. We are covered by Grace and Encouragement. Thanks Be to God! The arrangement was written by Jerry Clevland. One of our best arrangers. He went to be with the Lord this year. We will miss him greatly.
