dude same. i just played rdr2 and i was like, hey, wonder if these guys have any plays of it. found these gems and it made me nostalgic as hell. i remember when they posted their first minecraft LP and i was so excited, lol

For the record, at 6:00 when Geoff mentions "Killing Floor", Killing Floor was actually released before Left 4 Dead. It was originally a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 back in 2005. Tripwire Interactive would later contact the mod developers to port the mod over to there game, but never did. In 2008, Left 4 Dead was released. 2009, Tripwire Interactive and the original mod developers released the retail stand-alone version of Killing Floor. So technically speaking, Killing Floor is the game that set the standards for most of today's zombie games, however Left 4 Dead is more well-known.
Both series are fucking amazing.

this let’s play is kinda timeless, it’s the only LP that I come back and rewatch since it came out. I probably rewatch once ever 18 months-2 years. I can’t think of any other lets play I do that with 🤔
I like how Geoff thinks Killing Floor is a ripoff of Left 4 Dead, despite Killing Floor coming out before it.

Ok It makes me scream when they say "who has a grenade" and they dont notice the d-pad arrows on the grenade section that lets them switch around between bait grenades and holy water -_-
Why is it that Gavin is literally the worst out of all of them in pretty much every game, yet he's always the last man standing? It's not even like he just doesn't participate like those kids in every gym class, he gets right up in the shitstorm. Just by some favor of fate, he's always one of the last ones to die.

Back in the day when I used to play this everyday, I was a badass at these zombie waves, when all my team mates died I was last man standing, longest I survived for was about 25 minutes all I had left was my hunting knife to kill the zombies with lol, absolutely loved this game.

They play in one small room where they can hear each other and they all record audio separately, then they sync it together in the editing.
I'm gonna be honest, while they are not the funniest or necessarily the most entertaining, something about when they play a horde game (BlOps2, GoW, Sniper Elite), it just seems so real and true to gaming. These are my favorite to watch.
In case you guys play this again I felt obligated to let you know that when your selection hovers over the dynamite, you can use the arrows on the d-pad to switch witch explosive is being selected. Meaning you have both dynamite and undead bait.
This pack completes a rather interesting circle of events -
Red Dead Revolver originally had a zombie theme to it but based in the west, Capcom dropped it due to thinking it wouldn't sell for being similar to Resident Evil (in a time when Zombies were kinda going out of favour), and it was then aquired by Rockstar, Rockstar completed the game and kept it fully western.
Move forward some years and the sequal here RDR comes out only to then have a zombie themed expansion.
They have wooded areas and most of the trailers that show Trevor by himself are in open fields. I think those areas would make great zombie DLC maps.

In Red Dead Redemption undead story I have been hearing a song lately that I have not heard before. The song has a old fashioned telephone ringing in it. It sounds so much like when Rick lost his mind and thought he was talking to Lori on the telephone!

Does anyone else watch these guys play these games just because none of them know how to play it and do the exact opposite of anything objective? Really, I could get 5 guys together and play random games we've never heard about. Gavin's the jester who's the most likely to know more about the game then the others. Geoff's the team leader with a drinking habit. Michael screams into the mic whenever. Ryan just watches it all go down. Yet, I find myself attracted to their videos.
