Hello, nicely said and done. Especially saying no when no is the smartest answer. Pride goeth before the fall. No happens much nicer. I climbed down three times from a tough one to figure out. Then figured out a safe way to rig myself, then the risks were simply a matter of observation and as you say, step by step progression to a good result. No shame in taking care of yourself and the property. Right on, George. missed the house with the top, chunked the stem down then fell it where it needed to fall. All the while feeling good about not using my first plan. : )

I like to tie my saw an rig line onto the end on my climbing line alot times. That way everything ready for when I want it. I contract climb alot so I’m always planning an doin preparation so I don’t need to count on ppl on the ground because a lot of time they don’t know what there doin lol

The most dangerous thing a person can do is break a basic safety rule without consequences.

The thing is there some rules that you just don’t break then there rules that are more guidelines. There are times following THE RULES can actually put u in more danger.
