ahh... you missed a lot of cool things about this map. -the map room has a microphone that you can sound voice command (it gets super annoying after a while) -there's a sauna room near the slide entrance area -there's a cool air duct at blu spawn that shoots any class towards the quidditch goals -you can get run over by the train between first and second cap -as you are defending last there's a little room underneath map room that spawns with 10 or so blu sentries
Lol that is just to good, this map sure has some cool unique things. (Then again I never ventured into map making myself or seen many others especially in recent years) but still it had alot of things I had never seen before and I thaught it was hilarious as it didn't try to be serious at all and really embrased going full meme without having a horrible mess of emotes or gifs an actually having some neat ideas which where also visually stunning.

A good friend of mine made this map for an April Fool's competition. My single contribution was suggesting the "Please don't tap on the glass" sign. There are a bunch of additional jokes/memes scattered all over the map. It's so densely packed that it's really easy to miss things. She also recently made "Spellway" for the Halloween mapping contest. It was absolutely criminal that it wasn't a winner, and I highly recommend checking it out. She literally worked on it for over a year.
somehow this is unironically pretty cool. it has some really interesting ideas for sure and genuinely looks fun to play on. it also manages to maintain the balance that Badwater has for each class, even with a switched up route man, I wish the cart split idea was a thing on official maps. the TEAMWORK
The choke point/building there has never seemed too bad for me on either side but yeah I don't get why they added that whole back area, nice to see it get use
this map gives me a feeling of childlike wonder, because everything that i always thought was really cool but never got to play that much with is in this map snow fish tanks elevating mini cars waterslides and so much more it's so amazing.

A soundscape in Source is an entity which plays ambient noises in a certain area. Usually they are invisible point entities, but in cooler badwater the mapmaker used an env_sprite entity to put the soundscape entity sprite which shows in the map editor where there is presumably a soundscape entity in the map.
env.soundscape is an entity in source games that provide background noise depending on the areas the players enter in. so you will hear birds in the outside or computer or barn noises inside depending on what the map creator wanted to do

that concept with a cart that breaks down into 3 smaller carts and merges back into 1 cart before the next point is actually pretty original.
I think it might actually fit the theming of a Halloween payload map.

Env soundscape is what makes environmental sounds in maps. For some reason, the symbol of the object appears in game where the mapper put it.
I think the mapper did that on purpose because the rest of the room had dev textures
