Thirty is the perfect age to do this. Coming from someone who's 74. Your brain tends to absorb more. So to spread your wings to more cultural things is perfect timing. Your going to meet like minded people who are creative. Perfect place for pop ups for your ever expanding products. The arts are so important. Museums, art, music plays etc. Your expanding your circle. Can't wait for all your adventures. Be a sponge and soak up all can. It's a short life. You have already done and been to so many more places then I have in my lifetime. My only regret, besides bad relationships is there wasn't more adventures.
Hi Hannah. I love that you are getting a chance to explore a city with your bestie. With your love for travel and adventure why not? Especially if it gives you a chance to meet someone new or make new friends. As your brand grows it wouldn’t be a bad idea for you to have a space to get your Lupine Lane Name out there.

And you are always SO grateful and humble which is so refreshing. Thank you for letting us live vicariously through your adventures and inspiring us all.
Look forward to watching what is going to happen with the Apt. Think it's going to be very nice for you to get away when you want to a totally different place ❤👏
Congrats to you! I did something very similar. Moved to NYC with no intention of it being permanent and while maintaining my presence back home. After a year I'm leaving NYC. I've had my fill and come to see why I appreciate living back home with more nature and less density. I hope New York is a great experience and brings you clarity about what you most value in life, whatever that ends up being.
I think if you have the money and freedom to do it, having a part-time safe space in a city is awesome! I'd kill to more easily just dip into Philly and work at like, a cafe pop-up and then scuttle back to my own house with privacy and nobody bothering me.
I’ve done this several times for work, trying out different cities while keeping my home base. It’s a great way to fully expand, explore and truly experience a new environment without the pressure of permanency. Helps to satisfy the adventurous side while figuring out what’s most important & where you do want to ultimately end up. And makes for some wonderful memories.

I moved from the city to very rural America and met a famous metal sculptor who luckily taught me how to weld plus use all of the machines in his workshop. Amazing! Wonderful man. Now the men here come up and ask me if I'm the welder. I have achieved girl welding status. Lol.
I gasped when I saw the title. I was like NOOOOOOO Don't do it I'm born and raised in NYC. And unfortunately... I am stuck here and I absolutely hate it. My friends, GF, parents, grandparents, all my extended family all live in Manhattan and Brooklyn. All 4 generations are here. I can't... just get up and leave. That's why your channel drew me so much. I spend every free minute I have AWAY from here. I did vanlife for 6 months, I backpacked for a couple months, and I always DREAMED of just buying a small plot of land in the Adirondacks somewhere and building a small homestead so I can just be AWAY from here. I'm no good at nature since I'm a city kid... so it's scary. I learn a lot from seeing how you do things and think that hopefully once I have enough $ to buy a darn piece of land that I would finally be able to do that. But glad I watched til the end haha
“I can’t….just get up and leave”. Yes you can, you do not need to live where your family is to still love or care about them. You can always go visit them or have them visit you. You are your own person.
What an adventure! I’ve been living on the Upper East Side for over a decade now and NYC can be so magical! People not living here assume it’s just harsh city life, but there is a surprising amount of peaceful gardens and tree-filled parks if you know where to look. Def fun for young single people, but you have the best of both worlds now because you can retreat back into the woods whenever you want! You must check out Dumbo in Brooklyn, and Governor’s Island, and the Highline!
Well, you are definitely able to live at both ends of the spectrum now, that's for sure. Rural, woodsy Minnesota and constant busy, people-filled NYC. Have fun!
i LOVE this. this gives me so much motivation that i can truly do anything and have so much to look forward to. i often times feel like when bad things happen its the end of the world… i love to see this hannah.
Yeah - I know the feeling - May be fun for a couple-day excursion, but my nature is to be alone, independent, away from the (often non-sensical) hustle of humanity. Everyone is built differently or is at a different stage in their life. Good for you Hannah to support your friend.
Hi Hannah! I’ve been a viewer for awhile now (since you got your two cabins in the woods) and I just wanted to say how much pure joy and contentment you help give me in my currently crazy life. I’m trying to find myself, my joys and passions, and find peace. You help so much by just being yourself. You’ve helped me realize that hey, maybe I’m a free spirit and my soul is in many places and things instead of just one! When I saw this video and watched the end I became ecstatic for you in this next thing in your life! Thank you for being you!
I remember when you had a little pop up in NYC with your jewelry and you said you felt so anxious being there in the city. I’m glad things have changed for you! Can’t wait to see your adventures in NYC!
I totally get it. I'm a country girl at heart, but always love visiting New York throughout the year. It's a different kind of freedom from the country, especially for an adventurous spirit. I absolutely love being able to walk everywhere, there's so much to see and experience in NYC both day and night. Wishing you many wonderful new experiences and adventures, and looking forward to upcoming videos highlighting them! You're going to have so much fun!🦋
I’m wondering if the New York apartment is more expensive than the cabin and land. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was. I’ve seen videos of people paying more in rent for a micro-apartment in NY than we pay for our newly built 5 bedroom home in MO. Which is fine if that’s what you want.
@@patternandcraft She looks like she's in a relationship with Mr. Commando guy from her previous videos. But I'm not sure. She did say she's single here so maybe relationship with friends and family.
😢 and im here to post how creepy it is that an entire building is vacant😮?? Hoping you checked the "property deed" and owner documents. As well, How Can The Entire Bldg be VACANT?😮😮😢
@@heatherk8931I was wondering a bit about that too, but looking at the video, I got the impression all the spaces have a new coat of paint, so maybe someone bought a building that needed work to be up to code and had been vacant for a while, or used differently (like for employees of a single company/owner, short term rentals etc). The trim, walls ceiling, everything looks newly painted the same in all spaces she showed. But it does make me curious. I'm assuming these gorls had someone go over the paperwork. They're 30 not 23.
I just moved here for work. I was so happy to see another rural girl moving to the city 🥲 it has been a huge change but I am open to new possibilities. Here’s to our adventures Hannah 🥂
As a NY drummer for decades, check out these dives in the Village: First check out Bleeker & Sullivan Sts on the weekend (you might know this because you lived in Manhattan once, right?) 1. The 55 Bar. On 55 Christopher St in the West Village. $20 two drink minimum for each set - blues & fusion jazz. I go for the Fusion. 2. Smalls - tiny jazz venue, cheap 3. The Blue Note 4. The Bitter End 5. Peculiar Pub next door has 400 beers from around the world 6. Zinc Bar. 82 W 3rd St
I grew up in The Bronx, but went to grad school in Manhattan. Every weekend, I looked forward to getting out of the city center and visiting the family in the Bronx. The rich folks who live in Manhattan all have some kind of place to stay outside of the city center. This way you have the best of both worlds. Walking in Central Park was one of the best ways to escape the craziness of the business center.
My first reaction to the title of the video was " Hannah just needs another place to decorate and remodel !!" The second thought was "Please don't sell the cabins!!!" My third thought was we no longer have Carrie Bradshaw to take us on adventures in NYC, now we have Hannah!!! What could be better?? Seriously, I am so happy for you! Can't wait to see what adventures you tske us on!!
I honestly don’t get all the negative comments, everyone has their own lived experiences. What you experience in living in one city is probably not going to be the same for the next person. Love this new adventure for you and looking forward to NYC content!
I love how you're always changing things up and trying new stuff. I wish I was like you in that department. I think it's a good idea you did this esp at your age so you can be in a city instead of always being in a rural area
Yes!!! Do it while you can!! ❤I always said I’d live in NYC for 6 months-1 yr in my 30’s. But never made it happen. I’ve lived a lot of amazing places and traveled all over the world and it’s my one tiny regret. So happy to live vicariously through you now that I’m in my mid 50’s. ❤
Hannah, this is wonderful! I loved watching this and of course we were curious. I love how you just have been trying new things. And I watch this and I kind of just smile to myself because it’s encompasses so much of who I am. I love the country? I love the solitude of nature I love being alone and yet I love being with people and I also love being in busy places and doing the theater and all of that and I love being in the bigger city is so it’s kind of fun to be able to express yourself and be able to have spaces in each of these places, and just live your life and live it well and have fun! Congratulations on this extra addition that you’ve added to your experience and added to our experience as well! Sending love…💜
I love your videos Hannah. And I adore your little cabin, however, I do think it’s essential for your soul to wander free and land wherever you may. I have a feeling you’re going to have fun this chapter. Your soul reminds me that of a butterfly or something. Haha 😊🦋
Growing up in/around the city. And flying back every year to visit family in NY. And eating pizza slices from thousands of pizzerias, I'd say - check out Joe's Pizza in West Greenwich Village at 7 Carmine St. Go at 3pm - mid afternoon when the pies are fresh and it's not crowded. Just 1 Reg, 1 Sicilian slice.

Omg I have not watched you in about a year. I have started welding classes too! That’s so cool to be starting something new at the same time as you when you inspired me to start this van life venture in the first place!
I hadn't been to NYC for so long, but visited this past month and I loveddd it! I live in a rural area as well and although I love the quiet, nature, and community where I live, I also really loved the energy, culture, and diversity in the city, it felt really amazing and I look forward to visiting more often. totally get it - happy for you! enjoy every moment!
Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) looking quickly. Sometimes called "stick welding". You can do this. Does tak some practice. It will be good for you to use filled welds on your carbon steel structures around your properties.
Also for jewelry making although not necessary. Makes a great side job. With great pay. For anyone interested. I once thought of becoming a welder on an oil rig to be able to deep dive. Yes, to be young again☺️
Serendipity indeed! If I were your age and could afford to live in nyc I would jump at it. What a great getaway place for you! Enjoy it all! Have a great week 😊
You gotta do you, & just bc you have a large channel doesnt mean you owe anybody anything. What is life if not for some grand adventures? Enjoy, Hannah! Rooting for you from afar.
Hannah YOU ARE LIVING THE DREAM!!!Living in a peaceful paradise inside the woods like a fary ,WHILE living in the most beautiful , busy and ALIVE cities worldwide. You are a dream!!!Kudos!!!
I live on the coast in Florida. I love my quite and nature. I also am a graphic designer and I went to NYC for the second time in my life recently and wow what a difference I felt. The first time I hated it. This time I went with I am looking for inspiration. And there is no shortage of inspiration for creatives there! I could never live their either but felt it was such a good thing being around different cultures and SO many creatives and seeing the museums and watching artists sketch. It was beautiful and inspiring and definitely lit a fire in me. But damn did smelling that salt air feel amazing getting off the plane back home 😂
I had a feeling Hannah had itchy feet and mentally was ummming and aaahing. Often, I find, just as I start nesting or moving my zone around to its most comfortable something else comes through the universe or I'm already mentally prepared for a big change. Why not!! A girl of many talents and aspirations. I can see a NY gal, business and her farmhouse garden paradise. Best if both worlds.!! Well done, you work really hard ❤🎉
As someone who is also 30 and single and lives in the woods I love this so much! I'm building a small house and homestead in the mountains and adore my solitude, but just got back from a trip to Philly to visit friends and I wish I had an apartment there for the reasons you mentioned. Most days I'm happy to garden and take care of the land, but man it's nice seeing people and getting take out 😂 I was nervous to navigate the city but it was fun using a different part of my brain and being around so many people. And even better to come back to my little corner of the word. Best of luck!!
I am so genuinely happy for you and how you are doing life!! You’re truly living it to its fullest! You’re such an inspiration Hannah. You are so blessed and I pray God continues to bless you always ❤❤❤ Stay safe sis! ❤
This is the dream honestly! I recently moved back to small town Pennsylvania after a few years of living in NYC - and other cities before that - because I realized how overstimulated big cities make me and how hard they are on my nervous system. But I still love them! This seems like a really fun balance. Congrats to you and your friend! ❤️
Congrats on the new apartment!🥂 It looks beautiful and cozy, such a great idea to have a place in NY for a change of pace. But I really hope you don’t turn into a city girl! 😊. Please use an Air purifier when you don't use the AC. At 12:07, Breakfast at Tiffany's I love this movie! I love 'Moon River,' it was one of my dad’s favorite songs too. That movie reminds me of someone like you. Also, taking a welding class is such a smart idea!
I hope you guys have a blast. NYC makes me anxious. Okay to visit, but not sure I would want to live there. I might have enjoyed it when I was younger. I'm 58 now and enjoy my peace and privacy. I like living in the woods with no neighbors. You definitely won't get bored in NYC. It's awesome that you can travel and do what you want. Nothing to tie you down.
That's perfect: a house and cabins in the woods and a pied a terre in NY! I'm originally from Minnesota and I lived in NYC, as a young adult, for a decade because its one of the most amazing places in the world. A great life choice 💛🧡❤💜💙💚
It’s an amazing thing to see. It also makes me remanence and have care for the first set of cabin properties she has that sees very little lived in care.
Many of these comments are not passing the vibe check. I’m personally here for this era! I’ve always dreamed of a having a place in the city and another in the mountains/nature. Get it girl 👏
YES THIS. Winter's can feel really isolating out in the wilds. I had SO much fun living in a big city in my 30s. The two of them on the roof in the NY hoodies! I died. The best! I love to see these friendships being celebrated. What a fantastic way to get the best of both worlds. ❤
There is nothing crazy or unusual about having a little place in the city. This is a fun "luxury" that is a great idea if you can afford it. And speaking of that, you shouldn't feel bad or awkward for being able to afford it. You work hard, you've done well - the rest is up to you! I encourage you to get as much out of your young life as you can. Also, I think it makes sense that this would be very good for you. You live a somewhat isolated life and to have a big city place you can hop into when you are ready for some socializing, some night life, etc - *is wonderful* That is going to be a cute little place to decorate!! I can't wait to see what you do with it. Enjoy!
So excited for you Hannah! Pure joy! I love NYC, it's the most intense city and a perfect balance to rural cabin life, especially while you're young! I get it xx

“I can’t….just get up and leave”. Yes you can, you do not need to live where your family is to still love or care about them. You can always go visit them or have them visit you. You are your own person.
I love that idea getting the best of both worlds. I would absolutely do the same thing if I had the opportunity. I mean why not life short!
This is why I enjoy keeping up with you I 85 and love how free you have always lived which I never had the never to do.
What a fun and spontaneous adventure in your life, you made the right decision! Excited to hear more about where this takes you 😊
You're having the best of both worlds! Enjoy it!
Have fun
What exciting times!!! Have a lovely Sunday, happy I caught this!
Hannah spreads her wings and soars to new adventures. Congrats. More stories to be lived and passed along. ❤❤❤
Yeah - I know the feeling - May be fun for a couple-day excursion, but my nature is to be alone, independent, away from the (often non-sensical) hustle of humanity. Everyone is built differently or is at a different stage in their life. Good for you Hannah to support your friend.
The great thing about life is free will and to do and be anything we want at any moment in time! So excited for you, city girls are UP!!!!
I think she is doing this for her relationship and I respect it alot. She is FREE and can move freely. I love it! Such a sweet surprise!
@@IamaPriceisn’t she single? She said it in the video - just curious what you meant by doing it for her relationship
Of all my subscriptions, this is the most confusing. Good Luck.
@@patternandcraft She looks like she's in a relationship with Mr. Commando guy from her previous videos. But I'm not sure. She did say she's single here so maybe relationship with friends and family.
Loved the sweatshirts in the wardrobe 😊😊😊😊
Lock the door...😮
No kidding!!
I loveeeee this!!! Do what makes you happy and fulfilled! Can't wait to see all the new content!
As a NY drummer for decades, check out these dives in the Village:
First check out Bleeker & Sullivan Sts on the weekend (you might know this because you lived in Manhattan once, right?)
1. The 55 Bar. On 55 Christopher St in the West Village. $20 two drink minimum for each set - blues & fusion jazz. I go for the Fusion.
2. Smalls - tiny jazz venue, cheap
3. The Blue Note
4. The Bitter End
5. Peculiar Pub next door has 400 beers from around the world
6. Zinc Bar.
Be safe, be smart, be careful!
At 39 with a 20 year old son and a 12 year old son, you are living out my dreams friend. Enjoy this chapter you deserve it ❤
Heres to you and Amy 🥂🍾
The empire grows, and welding is a great skill to have.
Best comment. ❤
I love the little NYC Apt. Good change once in awhile. L9ved the coziness.❤
This is a cool opportunity 🔥🥰 a change in scenery is nice from time to time!
It's so fun to see the ever-expanding community of Lulu-ans!!! Heart warming💜
I love that fireplace surround 😭
I love how you're always changing things up and trying new stuff. I wish I was like you in that department. I think it's a good idea you did this esp at your age so you can be in a city instead of always being in a rural area
Whatever you do, I'm here for the journey! 💕
I just found you... You are so adorable, authentic, childlike ... and you made me smile today!!! Thank you Hannah!!
Ahh I love all your content!!! Thank you for being you!! ❤
Hi Hannah. Here’s your Land Rover’s rear door speaking. My hinges are sooo thirsty …😊
I weld and have a suggestion for you. You really should cover your hair when welding.
I love the bed in the living room ♥
Someone on TikTok had it like that and I loved the mindset of creating a home for yourself vs for guests.
Having both city life and country life is the goal but how expensive that must be😬
She is loaded, independent and free. She is the 1%. It's not reality for the vast majority on this earth, most who can't even afford even a humble abode of their own.
@@bigchief2331 how is she loaded I don’t understand ?
@@Qwerty-nm6qi her RUclips channel..
Yep 👎
@@bigchief2331
@@Qwerty-nm6qi She's probably a millionaire by now. Do you realise how much money people make off youtube, instagram and tiktok? thousands per video and then you have companies paying you big money to advertise their products. Plus she has her own business with jewelry and if even a third of her audience bought something, that's like 100,000 x a 100 dollar necklace. Yeah she's loaded.
Omg I have not watched you in about a year. I have started welding classes too! That’s so cool to be starting something new at the same time as you when you inspired me to start this van life venture in the first place!
You’re living my dream life! Thank you for the inspiration to see what’s possible 😊❤
I am in love with this idea. Currently manifesting a shared apartment with my sister in NYC right now lol Your life is fabulous. Welcome to New York!
Serendipity indeed! If I were your age and could afford to live in nyc I would jump at it. What a great getaway place for you! Enjoy it all! Have a great week 😊
💯❣
That rooftop scene was splendid! Especially with the beautiful, unchopped music/song! Thank you for your videos.
hannaaaaah!! whenever you do the transition like opening and closing the door and like coming is really hilarious!! the humour!! lavet!!
You gotta do you, & just bc you have a large channel doesnt mean you owe anybody anything.
What is life if not for some grand adventures?
Enjoy, Hannah! Rooting for you from afar.
… New York City don’t forget to keep your door locked even when you’re home🤷🏼♀️👊🏼😎
Edit - ❤️❤️❤️ The City
Congratulations!! 🎉So fun. That fireplace is incredible!
Why not?! I LOVE this so much for you!!❤
This is the dream honestly!
You’re fortunate Hannah. Who’s taking care of the mice back in the woods while you travel ? ❤️✌🏻

Very exciting! Enjoy spending time in NYC. I live in Manhattan and wish I had a get-away in the woods.
Must be nice
Many of these comments are not passing the vibe check. I’m personally here for this era! I’ve always dreamed of a having a place in the city and another in the mountains/nature. Get it girl 👏
YES THIS. Winter's can feel really isolating out in the wilds. I had SO much fun living in a big city in my 30s. The two of them on the roof in the NY hoodies! I died. The best! I love to see these friendships being celebrated. What a fantastic way to get the best of both worlds. ❤
This feels like such a huge chapter shift for you &&& I could not be more excited for you!!!!! Enjoy the most out of it 🤍
I think when ya live in a city like that ya better take your shoes off at the door. Who knows where those shoes have been! LOL
Welcome back!
Missed seeing for posts. Happy to hear you’re okay. Congratulations on retirement too!
Lovely watching your time with your best friend makes me want to grab mine and have an adventure 😊
Enjoy!
Congratulations on your new adventure. NYC will change you 😊
Yes…sheepish
So excited for you Hannah! Pure joy! I love NYC, it's the most intense city and a perfect balance to rural cabin life, especially while you're young! I get it xx
