I have an incredible career and I am not broke financially but when I think about all the money I waste paying rent it drives me nuts, plus, I am a free-spirit individual and I love this lifestyle. I used to own an RV and lived in it for a while traveling to my different job sites - I absolutely loved it so I know living in a van will suit me well. I love your channel! ❤ May I suggest as a hairdresser, to look into a 4 to 6 week cna course. Because I didn't think I could do it as a hairdresser. But once you get certified. You can pick up shifts that pay $18 to $30 an hour on an app like doordash. So I easily make $200 or more in one night as I travel around in my minivan. You just go to different nursing homes as you travel, to look after older people. Most of the time your just babysitting them on the night shift. Therefore I don't spend as much on gas as I would dashing. Plus I sometimes dash too! P. S. This vanlife is a new way of living mentally free. Unfortunately, many people don't understand that yet!

It is wise to pay bills off and not leave a burden on your kids if something happens. Living this way shows that consuming THINGS is not necessary... you never impress anyone. Love you!
I agree so many of us are raised advertised that things and material things equal value and happiness. Trust you can have the biggest house and tons of cars and still be sad and lonely. Most people with wealth have a hard time making genuine connections and relationships.

My immediate family is super excited for me to start traveling in my van and spending more time outdoors next year. They don't all "get it" but they know I've been an adventurous wanderer my whole life and that camping/hiking/traveling makes me happy. Glad to see you got that ice cream! Whew! The words you both has spoken, are the very words, I've been trying to express to my own love ones. Friends and family. Some just can't pass the "unconventionalality" of it. And now do to someone trying to break into my van, while I was sleeping. I've had to go back to live with ex, depending on another male friend for additional finances and it's taking a toll. You guys tried to keep it low key and now some has found out and the negative responses start coming in. It's with love, but, if they know you all. They know you, because from what I see from here. I have been in van life, car life a shelter life and slept my mother beauty salon and now God has blessed us so now we just applied forva government program Usda to build our first Home!!
