So...So...good. Just a bit sad to see them without Kevin and especially Paddy. Good tunes! Good to see Matt cutting up. Donal is always a hoot to watch![RIP Michael]
They look like they are slightly unrehearsed and kind of joking at each other when someone makes a mistake. So funny to watch. But what a sound. I will never get over how great they are. Great bands are magic and this is one of the greatest ever.
Why, why, didn't Gradam Ceoil give us the finish and the band/audience reaction on this? But, otherwise, this is marvelous. I do wish Tommy had cracked a smile, but everyone else seems to be having a whale of a good time. (In particular, I wish I enjoyed my work 10% as much as Donal enjoys his.) And RIP Tommy and Micheal. Two of the greats.
Amazing sound. Dunno is there any one thing thats driving it but it’s fab. That sound sets them apart to other bands. Moving hearts had a similar distinctive unique sound. I suppose thats that’s the trick to create.

thank you for sharing. -> Is there more of the Bothys available of that evening in 1999 ? It is so nice to see Micheal having so much fun, (r.i.p.). The Bothys are one of my all time favourite groups, ever!
Well it's obvious the camera person had something against women. Never once did a close up of Triona. Can someone explain the difference in both the violin players? The playing(bows) is not identical. Paddy Glackin on left appears to be playing faster but that can't be. Is he throwing in more notes maybe than the other?

Why don't you just listen to the music?
@@SuperMikado282 I'm intelligent enough to listen to the music and make an observation. You obviously aren't.

Without Paddy - there's a gaping hole
Who else noticed the bazuki player is a lefty
He is Donal Lunny, one of the most important composer and player in irish traditional music.
None of us......we are all blind. 🤣
Most, if not all BB fans know that this is not really the Bothy Band. Nuff said.
Because Paddy Keenan's not in it? But then we've got Paddy Glackin instead, so...
Well that’s completely wrong… only lacking Burke and Keenan Jesus
