Will Nutanix Compression work with all subscritions, or only with Prism Pro ? I ask this cause we will start with 2 new clusters now, and one of these cluster is dedicated for Nutanix Files only. In my opinion, compression makes here most sense. I am right ???

Compression is licensed with AOS not Prism Pro. All tiers have compression but pro and ultimate have deep storage compression. nutanixbible.com/#anchor-book-of-aos-compression. I agree with your thoughts on compression.

Second question: If i understand right, inline compression works always out of the box. How big is the amount of data that will saved in % on Nutanix Files. I have not found any information about that.

That depends on the files that are being stored there. Microsoft files will compress really well vs video where you see little savings.

Great Video. But I have question while doing the decompression does the COE consume, high processing power ? will it not have an effect on overall system performance?

+syed quadri extra CPU will be around ~5% but the pay off will be more flash space and the ability to go faster to disk.

What will happen if read request for data comes while its post-process compression is taking place?
Will it wait for compression to complete or get the replicated copy?
