To a bee a plain flower has it's own patterns that we humans simply don't see
bees see in different colours but that doesn't change the pattern as the colours only change. plus we can see through bee vision with special equipment. so the only thing that changes would be the colour. a plain flower would still look plain to them just with a dif shade of colour

Although I hate to disagree with Ogui, flowers do in fact compete with each other. Recent observations of the South American milkweed genus Oxypetalum made by Andrea Cocucci from the Instituto Multidisciplinario de Biologia Vegetal of Argentina reveal that physical competition does in fact exist between plants. The pollen sacks of this species are equipped with horns in order to do battle with each other for space on the pollinator (Bird, insect etc.)
